HE IS HERE!!!

Initial inspection, no major QC issues, no face scratch, no issues with the chrome, minor paint imperfections you'd expect if you bought any mainline CHUGs recently. Which, you know, he is... Star Saber looks and feels like a big CHUG packaged with a smaller (but still big) CHUG. While this doesn't seem to sit well with some people, it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for it to be... a Commander-class packaged with a Leader, a pack of Micromasters, an some bonus accessories.

Well, I'm gonna peace out for awhile. Grab some lunch, then start photographing this bad mamma jamma.

BTW, for those keeping score, I haven't received any emails from Pulse, and my order still says "unfulfilled" on the website. The only clue I had that he was arriving today was a text from FedEx letting me know a package requiring a signature was coming.

 

So apparently they attempted delivery at 10:15am, but I've been up working from home since 9 this morning and haven't heard a single doorbell. Thanks FedEx!

 

Hey, at least it's coming AFTER the snow from the snow storm is mostly gone!

 

Arrived today at my house. Box was in great condition and everything looks decent from a cursory exam, except for the gold chrome on the chest of each bot. If there is scuffing on the chrome, is there anything can be done? I couldn't tell if there was a thin piece of protective film on it or not, but didn't have too much time to mess around with it before getting back to work.

 

They tend to do that. I fully expect them to say nobody is home even though the car is in the driveway, the dog is barking, and someone is standing at the door.

 

Got my official notice. Got the FedEx one a few days. Be here Tuesday!

I am in New England
My shipping notice email came less than 24 hours ago
I did have to sign for it
The delivery was from FedEx (so in my case it was not a SmartPost situation)

Still no email about it shipping. Nothing on the FedEx app. And my order on Pulse still says unfulfilled.

 

Never got a email from pulse about Star Saber being shipped, but then this morning I received a text from FedEx about a package out for delivery. Well my star saber was delivered this morning! Now have to wait till Christmas to open it xD

 

Oh I see. Was in bad lighting when I checked the screw type. I'll give that a try, thanks.

I’ve got 3 coming but only one tracking number from the Fed Ex app.
Hoping all three are together!
If not, I’ll try not to panic as I wait for each of them.  

 

Kind of wish this had better quality control. Sounds like a normal hasbro release not a "premium" one.

 

So the FedEx app is entirely unusable. The website won't let me log in, and the mobile app tells me nothing about incoming packages. Am I doing something wrong?

 

Really hope mine updates at some point. Out of the 15 or so friends of mine that backed it. I’m the only one that hasn’t gotten an update yet and we’re all in the US.

 

Mine just came and leo has a huge scuff on his right side chrome. Anyway to clean/buff this? Pretty disappointed, for 200 we shouldn't have these issues.

Also while the reversible box is somewhat neat, it doesn't have an actual box, the trays will just slide out.

 

Central Washington is expecting 5-6 inches of snow today, and the snow storm will continue through Sunday. We aren't the best at keeping up with the plowing. Slightly nervous
