You may want to reconsider, his other chromed bits look REALLY good in sunlight.

 

Wow yeah that looks awesome. What'd you use to chrome it out?

 

I used some liquid chrome paint pens I found on Amazon. They work quite well and have used em on more than several TF chroming occasion. Lol

 

Ahh, i dont like those ahaha, they end up smudging and it loses it finish just by touching. I've had bad experiences with them. I'll use something else tho!

Mine have kept their luster for a couple months now, and I read it's because you must let them cure for about 24 hours.

 

I know the joints are supposed to become softer with time, but they are way too annoying at this point.

In a pose like this it's kinda common for his toes to move, followed by the ankle joint, then Optimus just falls forward. I know it's normal, but is there anything I can do to change that?
I don't think he can do a pose like this anymore for example

 

How often do you change the pose on him exactly?

I mess with mine like once or twice a day, and he will hold that pose perfectly fine. I’ve had him since release and loose joints have never been an issue on any of the 10-15ish Threezero/Threea figures that I’ve owned.

 

It's not very regular, but I've let him in the same pose for weeks many times. It's not as often as you, very far from that

 

Is optimus getting restocked by any chance?

Finally! I am going to receive my Jetfire next Tuesday; I will need to take time to combine it with my second OP.

I finally opened Jetfire and combined him up. Man, that thing does not like to stay together, in either combined or standalone Jetfire mode. Some of those peg/tab tolerances definitely could have used refinement.

As cool as Jetpower Prime looks though, I decided to separate them again and display separate. I've always liked the Jetfire design, and it works better for my current display.

 

Did I overdo my "diorama" a little?

 

There's never "overdoing" it.  

 

Honestly, I don't even play with mine with any caution in the slightest. He's built like a brick shithouse, stuff falls of but never breaks.

 

It's easy to forget how incredible these figures look under a light that sets a mood.

Everyone loves a decently lit tree!
