Now if you're looking for ToyWorld or GigaPower parts? Both of those companies are notoriously difficult to get parts from and the wait may be years to never. Or some other one-and-done companies where ShowZ just has no place to get parts from. Overall though, ShowZ has managed to complete all my after service requests given enough time.

And even when successful, it does often take weeks or months to source parts from even the "big" 3P companies.

 

Appreciate the reply! It was all starting to feel a bit nebulous, so it's good to hear that at least a few weeks to hear back from the manufacturer is par for the course. Probably doesn't help that all of my other regular stores just have a return&replace policy, so this process is rather unfamiliar.
The item in question is from Newage - hopefully they're not particularly bad?

 

I just got a replacement NewAge part from them maybe two months ago - my toon Optimus Prime lost one of his ear-antennas, and ShowZ sent me a whole Optimus Prime head (minus the face).

 

Agreed; And even with the companies that are delinquent (Toyworld, Gigapower, Planet X), ShowZ will still do their best to get replacement parts, even if it takes a long time. I've received replacements for both Gigapower and Planet X, though it took 6-7 months (through no fault of ShowZ). I've never tried with Toyworld though.

I've received other replacements in a faster turnaround though, maybe a couple months for Iron Factory?

I would guess they are trying to ship as much as possible before the Chinese New Year since there will be factory turnover at that time. Plus they need money to pay the Chinese New Year bonuses to their employees.

 

@AbbytheCat , just wondering if you have contacts with Dr. Wu, and wondering if there's any way that they might consider re-releasing the Staff for Alpha Trion (Dr. Wu DW-P30 POWER OF TITANS), as with the release of the new version (A Hero is Born), there would most certainly some demand for it.

 

@AbbytheCat will you guys be restocking XTB Inferno at all? I'd rather buy from you than the places I've seen that still have it in stock.

@AbbytheCat hi, was hoping you could help with an order that went dark on me, 22100908525264 , tracking stopped working and said not found about 3 weeks ago, was shipped off one month exactly. I know you guys are busy as all heck, and Sam through customer service said they'd contact the shipping, but that was about 2 weeks ago, so was looking for an update if possible.
