Complexity is EXACTLY why BSF even gets mentioned. Any nuance to transformation is immediately going to invoke BSF references because of his well documented struggles with complexity. That's the horror and hilarity of the references and ensuing ridicule. Just as the XTB references compare how complex Jive's transformation is, the BSF references discuss his inevitable struggles with said complexities.

I really am looking forward to this guy. I have Maketoys' Downbeat and Toyworld's Coolsville and adore them both for different reasons. Can't imagine Jive beating out Coolsville's alt mode or premium Downbeat's bot mode but the pics and videos sure are promising.

The latest transformation videos always had prototypes that had paint scratches. It does not mean that the final products themselves will have them.

Hoping it’s not delayed too much. CNY is 22nd Jan next year so if it gets delayed anything past early Jan things might get messy.
Figures get delayed, QC. often takes a hit. Early part of the year can be a nightmare for releases.

There are so few "big event" masterpiece releases nowadays. But Fanstoys Jive is definitely one of them. Until Takara get their act together that is.............

 

Yeah, I noticed when I did the 3rd party voting that, with the exception of Hanibal, every FT release this year replaced something I already had on my shelf. Every one an upgrade for sure but not nearly as exciting as getting that character that's been missing forever.
Unfortunately, those holes are few and far between these days so it'll mostly be replacements from here on out.

 

Luckily or unluckily(depending how u see it) with starting later than most folks i still have quite a few gaps to fill. Things like acoustic wave hitch and outrider were replacements. But aussie, tesla, the headmasters mirage and jazz are all new for me.

 

Yeah, which is weird because they just said in the app "jan or feb". Already "noted" to them in the app that it's back up and can pay the balance. Maybe I should've added a big old question mark.

Just watched a portion of that transformation video...yeah, he looks good in both modes, but it is definitely over engineered. I considered possibly getting this figure, but I have Maketoys' Jazz and he looks just as good in my opinion. Definitely not picking this guy up, but I'm happy the option exists for those who don't have an MP Jazz.

 

Says 62 now on the balance option, the regular option does indeed say 20. No idea what the difference is. May all be a mistake.
