Yep, I bought a pin punch and removed the pins at the elbows and knees. It's kind of a pain, but it can be done, and I like the results much better.

I got an email from Magic Square this afternoon and it looks like the tapes are available again on their website. I don't know if the "limited stock" hint is legit, but I wouldn't wait if you still need them.

 

Has anyone asked MS if there is going to be a way to ever get Laserbeak again? I have the original with Rumble and Autoscout and can readily find the other 4. Just stupid Laserbeak... and I'm not paying over 100 for just one bot on ebay...(only listing I found included either ravage for 120+ or Soundblaster for 400 lul)

 

They have been for a while, I think I ordered an extra set in late November

Yeah, I actually ordered that set when they first went up. I'm actually hoping for Rumble, Laser Break, and the auto scout.

 

For anyone who still shops with baba, they have listed B27A for $39.99 which is the lowest price I've seen so far. I know some people don't shop there anymore, but I still do and they've never let me down after all these years.

Bombusbee had the tapes for significantly lower price, it was 22$ until yesterday. if I only I had seen it before I ordered from Magic Sqyare directly.

If nothing else, a Garboil (and Howlback) or a Sundor (and Glit & Rosana) would be nice, besides Overkill, Slugfest, and Stripes.

Not sure if that would make for a consolation prize for ya, tho. .^.

 

I just figured I’d order a second set of tapes and just repaint frenzy and Buzzsaw. Easiest thing I can think off outside of spending upwards of $200. Just gotta come up with some colors for the extra ratbat and Ravage.

 

Bombusbee now has the best price I've seen for new Soundwave: $25 + $8 shipping to US = $33 shipped.

Really wish I wasn’t that picky, but these blue parts are going to annoy me. They’re silver on the previous releases. Kinda breaks the toon-ness of the fig. No more than the metallic paint, I guess.

Not a dealbreaker though, I’ve already ordered
