Some comparison shots between G1 vs MP vs Haslab on the alt mode

 

Shockingly not that far off in alt mode length compared to the G1. And the G1 shocked me with it's size!

 

Didn’t realise how much I cared about the exposed screw holes till this. I’ll have to print some covers!

 

What upgrade kits? I have Star Convoy and Super Megatron and was unaware of such things. I’d love Super Megs to be taller

 

As someone who got back into collecting after the Haslab closed and missed a shot at this, that's what I'm trying to figure out:

Do I pay for an ebay "preorder" now before anyone has one in hand, or do I wait until they're all shipped and people actually have them in hand? I wonder if there will be a large unloading on ebay once they all arrive and there will be a momentary dip in prices.

Oh wow, the one thing I always thought the mp had on the haslab was sculpt but I guess I've looking at mp24 with rose tinted glasses. Proportions on the haslab look much better. I'm pretty excited for Star Saber, but Victory Leo really needs some extensive 3p upgrading. New shoulder pads alone would make a huge difference.

It’s not a significant increase though.

 

Oh... well if it put him on par with Star Convoy size wise that'd be a bit different. He isn't really different enough height wise to make it worth it and I don't need/want a bazillion gap fillers.
