Fyi for those who buy figures from gamestop, the manager told me going forward they're not taking returns on "blindbox" items which is basically all the new hasbro packaging. Granted ymmv...but I probably stop buying from them.

 

That might be but blind box stuff is actually all those bagged and capseled stuff that you don't know which character it is until you open it. What hasbro is doing now is just a more graphical version of the old catalog mailers.

 

I know what blind boxes are, and he meant all the new hasbro packaging for obvious reasons, as they can't actually see what gets returned when the box is "sealed". I was returning the marvel legends mr negative 2 pack..so yeah...

 

Sorry to ask, but just to confirm, the rewards certificates can only be used on full priced items, correct? Can't use them for on sale items?

 

It can be used for anything.

 

Online, yes. But you can use them in store on the discounted items.

No, the power up rewards certs don’t work on sale items online.

 

I've had issues before where if you try to use certificates in store it reverts the sale price. So if an item is $30 on sale for $25 and you use a $10 certificate, the price doesn't end up $15, it would end up $20.

I bought the Siege Refraktor Reconnaissance pack from Gamestop's website last night. I bought it on a PayPal Pay in 4 plan. So far I can't even put the first payment down for it and it now says unavailable on the website. Did Gamestop sell me an item that they didn't even have?

 

That's entirely possible. It'll take a day or two for it to make its way through their system to get it all sorted. I'm going to say it's 50/50 chance. You'll either get it or not at all. There will be no "we might be able to find you one if you give us a few days"/maybe refund.

In the middle of waiting and wondering, it sucks. Believe me, I've been through this with them.

 

They sent me a shipping email overnight. I guess it means that I had one of the last available ones.

 

Anyone know if clearance is still 50% off in stores? I see for their website it has switched to 20% off. But even then it does not seem to be reflected once added to cart. Their pricing logic seems arbitrary and unpredictable.

 

Has the Studio Series Universal Studios Megatron been in-stock recently or nah.

Never liked Gamestop - always shady business - page lists price x - add it to cart & it is now price y. Check out & it is now price z. For those still wanting the Jurrassic Park crossover - screen shots or page printouts & complain to their order people IF you can find them. Otherwise not worth getting.
