using the name "gifter" for hyping this product seems like it will be very accurate in a year or so

Is this still 3d printed, or has it made it to injection molding yet? I can't tell from the new picture. Any guesses on how much this weighs?

I think the main thing is...no matter the size, it's not in scale. At all. Because that is impossible.

Also, I wouldn't spend $10 on a 3ft tall+ figure as i have no room, so it would just get binned!

So it's just an expensive 3d print for people with the $$$$$$$$. Which is fine...but not for me. But i kind of want to see what happens after people spend the $$$$$$$$ on it.

If this is the same people doing those Computron and Bruticus 3D print "upgrades" that cost $300 or so, if this thing ever came to fruition, it would run several thousands.

One arm is 6.4 pounds and it’s holding up easily!
this is not the final product.

i don't want to come across as crass. but i don't think anyone really gives a shit about what the arm is doing on a 3d print.

this has nothing to do with anything related to the final product. for now is is all just useless fluff.

don't get me wrong it is definitely cool.

but if he was really making progress with this fig he wouldn't still be messing around with this useless 3d print. he would most likely have new smaller resin prints to show off of the real updated production prototype.

We are testing for joint strength. If it can stand up to a 3D print, when molds are done, we know it'll hold properly. We test and test and test. Hence a prototype print. It's also about accountability to you, the future buyer...

I know I may be in the minority but I look forward to seeing the finished product. If it can be conceived of in your mind it can be achieved in my opinion. Look at the cell phone and computers!

I actually really want to see this product finish and love seeing the 3d print adventure. If this falls with in the 500 to a thousand for the actual mold I might be all in. Great job to everyone on this team

You’re not the minority. I’m pretty sure that’s why most of us are subscribed to this thread. Just not sure why others are

when you see a house on fire you're compelled to stop and watch it burn

I’m sorry but that’s arguably the dumbest analogy I’ve heard. You stop to watch a house burn or would you call the police and try to help insure no one was inside.
