So, the ball-jointed ankle bar for Ice Land cracked where the foot screws in. Super glue is holding it, but it makes me worry about longevity. (It's actually holding right now. Like supporting his weight and everything.)

Did I hear right that Show.Z can get you replacement parts even if you didn't buy from them? I might have to.

Otherwise, the set is amazing. That was my first and only real serious issue with this set. I did notice that loosening the screw (and other joints on all of the figures) goes a long way to help with this set.

I had to use a little bit of vegetable oil (not spray) to loosen Iron Arm's shoulders. Oh, my gosh, those were horrible and scary. The noise was f'd up, so bad. No more, but still...

20221110_082740.jpg Suiken.png so I was wondering why the arms for Radiation didn't have their toon style "back guns" even though they're trying to be g1 accurate and then I found that you can store their guns like this. No stock photo made mention of it and I don't remember seeing it heres before (although I could have missed it in the 390+ pages we've been talking about this set)

I’m finally going to be joining the train club!
I’ve been downsizing the shelves a bit and have enough to bite this entire set at once.

    Cannot wait!!

Haha welcome aboard, while I'm jumping off...
    I've sold my set.
Was over the initial high, and I've since come to the conclusion that it didn't really fit in with my collection.

I'm considering jumping aboard since I've seen some really good deals on these as of late. If I was going to pick up one at first to test the waters, which one would everybody recommend starting with to get a good feel for the set?

I’d start off with either of the armbots. Very straight forward and fun to transform.

Personally I’d go for Cool Peak (Seizan). Very stylish in both modes.

I thought Iron Arm was the easiest to transform. Moon Shine to me was the hardest, and I had one hinge piece on his foot that broke but didn’t really seem to affect anything. It all tabbed together and is holding just fine in combined mode. Legs and arms were about the same. It’s a great looking combiner for sure. I’m really happy I got mine.

Ordered Cool Peak, love that look.

Also picked up Iron Arm because that gray/orange deco looks pretty damn slick.

Does that breakage have any bearing on individual modes? I'm more interested in displaying teams as individual bots and alt modes for the most part.

I'm kind of excited now—I really love the looks of the bot modes on these. I have no connection whatsoever with the characters and I'm not really a big train aficionado, but there is something compelling about this set. Especially when the prices keep dropping and making it harder to resist.

No, the break didn’t seem to cause any problem. I had it in all three modes just fine, the piece was a hinge so once tabbed it was secure. The bot modes on these look great, especially the arm bots. I would say MoonShine is the weakest, looks wise, of all. I have no connection to this set either, never even new they existed until getting on here a few years ago. I still ignored this set all along until I found out it was a 20” combiner. I love combiners, always have.

If only it was more like the G1-toy. Specially the combined mode. TT has made a great looking version of the G1-toy's head for their Raiden. If Moon Studio would copy that and change up other things as well it would look even better than it already does.

What type of track piece is that. I'm trying to sort through my options because I'm want to build a track for around our Christmas tree as they are going to become the Xmas train for the season, it was my way of explaining the purchase to my wife lol

That's the track piece that belongs to Fanstoys Thomas.

The moon studio trains are sized to fit on Lego tracks

Sounds like my set is being transported by boat I’m assuming due to the chaos going on in China. So it’ll get here when it gets here!

I love the look, but MMCs recent releases has more or less made parts-forming an unforgivable design choice in my book.

Radiatron is significantly less partsforming than most 3P combiners
