Dunno if you've looked at MS 2.0 yet but that's probably the MP Prime for the immediate future, mild QC issues aside.

I work late tonight, I will once I finally get home. It's pretty much done, shouldn't take much longer to tidy him up.

 

Well I was hoping this guy was good because he looked the part in pictures, but I was worried about materials and sturdyness and such. Well so far out of the box he's pretty incredible. Very solid, very heavy feeling. This is definitely the bot mode I wanted from an MP Magnus. My human Magnus can stand but his legs are still a little off. The only thing I am worried about is pulling the arms down for the double elbow. It's super tight to the point I don't want to risk it.

 

Yeah, he was top of my list, but between some of the weird color choices and the lack of paint I’ll wait to see what ft does.

 

You can work around it by unscrewing that part, but I've had no issues when pulling mine.

 

Got around to transforming him, he looks great! Very sturdy in this mode, so many tabs holding it together it doesn't wobble at all! I am even more impressed with Stack after seeing all the engineering in person!

 

So checking in on this now that people have em. I'm guessing the transformation isn't fun?

 

All these positive in hand impressions (what really matters instead of a dude with a camera and his “review”-lol) are really great!

Looking forward to what they can bring with their Galvatron!

 

It's very involved, although a bit finicky to get everything tabbed in.

I started with the upper body and then did the legs and that seemed to work pretty well, it was quite floppy until the sides of the trailer were tabbed in but once they are its solid!

 

A dude with a camera's 'review' is literally an in-hand impression though...

 

Thanks. I did it. Still took a scary amount of force. Anyways, Robot mode is pretty amazing. Not transforming it anytime soon.

I was worried about the arms being too long and canceled my preorder awhile ago. Having seen the in hand pics others posted here showing it wasn’t nearly the issue I thought it was I decided to purchase a copy…which came in today. Man, I’m impressed! I haven’t transformed it yet but bot mode has been a joy to pose. Everything you want to move, moves solidly (minus butterfly joints). I think x-transbots knocked it out of the park with this release. The weight is where it needs to be as it is very well balanced.

Anyway here are a couple pics. I tried to do something different than what’s been posted previously, but I needed to do one with him and cyclonus battling it out.

 

Went to pull the trigger on this guy, but he's sold out for all the US retailers, and I travel soon.
