Still annoying when we had Beachcomber, Cosmos, and Brawn just a few years ago and we're getting them again. Gears was my first TF, and he deserves a new figure.

 

Well as I’m sure you know, Gears was supposed to be in Kingdom but got scrapped. Would have been Core class though I think, so I’m glad he was if that was the case.

 

That’s how I felt when I realized that we were getting Pretenders in Legacy who already had toys in POTP. I’d like new toys of Waverider and Stranglehold at the very least.

 

I'll take Waverider, but I want Cloudburst too

Can we just get though ALL the minibots once since G1, so we can move the eff on? All of em. Repaints and variations. Just get em all done. The multi-year string-along game is getting tired... or maybe that's me. Let's stop leaving things on the table too. Where's Glyph, Tap-Out, Rook, Yellow CJ, Red BB and Bumper? I'm certain there's more. Like, do it. Get it done. Take all my stupid money. So we can move on to more interesting things. I love the minibots but cuhhhmooooonnn.

 

As someone whose primary interest lies with G1, I approve of this sentiment. If Hasbro is, as staff have stated in interviews and Q&A sessions, dedicated to finishing teams, then just go ahead and get it done. And then let everyone else have what they've been waiting for.

 

I agree with this and I guess this is what most G1 fans would like : Get the remaining minbots asap. But yes, clearly the goal is to string us along for many years and sprinkle the remaining bots on multiple years. It sucks, but it make sense (from a business point of view). We know Brawn is coming and has a listing, Gears and Windcharger do not, but they will eventually. This just proves we’re not getting them soon (as in next year). Same reason we’re getting just one insecticons a year. Same for the Dinobots. These are guaranteed big sellers for them

 

we can get them done, but some of them will be shortpacked walmart exclusives

 

We will never get them all in the same style or scale. They’ll always leave one out so that way people will buy the next refresh (which will also leave some out).

We got really close with T30-POTP Legends class (not the TT Legends) but they didn’t do Hubcap or Cliffjumper and some were quick inappropriate reheads like Warpath.

But I agree. Get them all done and out of the way. Botcon repaints. Ehobby GoBot repaints. Brazilian, Argentinian, whatever recolors. Do them as giftsets, capsules, I don’t care…

But it won’t happen. The question will be.. who will be left out this time?

 

I just really want Gears, Pathfinder, and Smallfoot.

We're getting 2 Insecticons in 2023.

That said, I bet dollars to donuts that Legacy Evolution Bombshell will be in his cartoon colors: gray chest, black limbs, absolutely zero purple.

This helps differentiate him from Shrapnel, who will be hitting shelves the same year. It aligns with Hasbro's G1 toon focus at retail.

And then they can sell a toy colors Selects redeco for people who want their Insecticons to match.

 

they did cliffjumper in the T30 Legends, he was a repaint and came with the roller partner; nemesis prime was his wavemate and came with the helicopter partner painted as spinister.

also, the reason we aren't getting them all at once? It's not some evil "mwahaha we'll leave one so they have to buy the next refresh" it's because marketing wants them to do waves a certain way. they're not going to do 4 small deluxes in one wave that's ridiculous. They're not going to do any that have similar vehicle modes. there's a small handful left to do and we have at least 4 that are rumored so relax. we're going to get them

Also, there's a million characters to do now that legacy opened up more universes.

I totally understand how it works. I was just implying to spread them out. You have five capsules this year? Slap a Minibot repaint in each one, and then one or two in Selects. We still have quite a few to get through in the current style. Gears, Swerve, Windcharger, Tailgate, Brawn, Outback, Seaspray, Beachcomber, and Powerglide. (A couple of these have store listings / rumors) Those are just the main mass release G1 guys. From already released guys, we still don’t have Glyph, Tap-Out, Treds, and Pathfinder.

So yeah, I get it. I would love for them to finish the main ones, at least. I just wish I had your confidence that they won’t switch to Warriors in Generations and do them in that price point… (that’s extreme, I’m just saying they can change plans).

 

But you said it wasn't done during T30, and I'm just telling you it was. It doesn't matter if you liked it or not. It existed.
