    Tekkaman! Awesome!

I built some Tekkaman kits in the late 90s, after seeing the domesticated version “Teknoman”. They were pretty good kits - on par with the HGs of the time. Don’t have any of them anymore, would be curious how the build is on that one.

i worked on one of those original 1992 kits as well, actually... and right around that same timeframe, no less!!

did a decidedly lousy job on it, but, i actually somhow managed to hold onto it all these years,
unlike most all of my other, long-gone, early-90's through early-00's teenhood Mecha builds.

i managed to dismantle it cleanly, and gave the parts a bath in Iso Alcohol.
the old WARHAMMER CITADEL COLOURs i used back then just fell right off, after a couple of days worth of agitation and soaking.

    i repainted it, -in TAMIYA COLOR- with my current day brushes and skillset at hand;

Team is complete :)  Removing the seam lines on the back wings of the Wing Zero was the tough part of this build. On Nataku I had to remove the seam lines on those 20+ red bits on the dragon fangs.

The main body construction really is quite intricate.

    IMG_20221123_223801.jpg

You can swap the head/neck onto a 30MS body.

    IMG_20221123_225201.jpg

Gonna build her legs last. But so far I really like this kit!

There is going to be blood in the water over the return of the Todesritter. Super glad I managed to nab it the first time around.

Also holy fuck, $82 for the Stark Jegan?! Like, okay, the Mk. V I can understand being about $100 since anything with Gundam Sentinel is a rarity, but Stark Jegan shouldn't cost nearly as much!

Lots of popular MGs back in stock, too, plus the IBO Gjallarhorn final battle set with the Danslief launchers, but I just can't justify any of it. Backlog is approaching resembling Halden's entire shelf unit of unbuilt kits and I'm already having to consider storing some Transformers to make room for more Gunpla.

Yea it seems excessive to pay an extra $32 for the additional parts on the Jegan. With shipping and tax its going to be closer to $100

We can assume inflation because *reasons* but I want to believe this also reflects the parts volume and size. The Jegan isn't a small MS to begin with, but not the heavyweight in complexity/engineering. Since it's based on the Jegan Type-D, I'd assume it will have the other parts from that normal configuration PLUS the parts to build the Stark variant. The base/retail MG Jegan costs barely over $50USD , so the mark up for extra equipment hurts.

Practically 98% of this lot is reissues, and what's kind of funny about this is how the normal color versions have their clear parts equivalents from the Expo still available.
The Stark was the only thing I'm interested in out of this lot, but the price is concerning. It's disappointing they didn't list this week's announcements from the F90 Mission Packs to the Rose.

@anubis20 Sweet baby Jeebus, those look amazing. I can only imagine the number of hours that went into all those kits. Awesome work, man. Simply awesome.

Guys, I noticed that some of my MG Zaku II hands are loose.

Are there any recommendations to tighten them or alternative hands I can buy to replace them?

I hate to ask, but if you broke a leg joint on that model do you have to shoot it because it could never race again?
.... at least you won't need the bucket (for the front end loader) on the tractor to bury it.

This is literally a side plot of the show, actually, when Suzuka Silence gets injured so badly she can't walk.
