No movement on Hudson or Brooklyn for me, either. And like @Ektris above I ordered when they both went up.
There's an animated styled Goliath coming out from someone called Beast Kingdom, but they want $105 for him. Gargoyles Dynamic 8ction Heroes DAH-034 Goliath
Had that Beast Kingdom thing come first, I'd have been all over it. But it looks cheaper and it's way more expensive. NECA's line has been great, but not perfect and some weird wing decisions... but they're way better than this is looking.
I vastly prefer the Beast Kingdom figure. I've heard of them before and seen some of their stuff online, but never in person. The figure looks to be good size which helps with the price tag. That said, I'm not sure Gargoyles is a property I would spend several hundred dollars on to get the whole crew. And that's provided we get the whole crew to begin with.
Wow, exact style I want, but weird engineering (pinned shoulders) and super expensive. c’mon NECA, give us a “Toon” subline like you did for TMNT
Eeeeehhhhh, weird head-sculpt, weird proportions, off-color...if you're going to do a cartoon-slavish version it needs to be 100% on point, as in, ripped right from the animation model. If you can't get Goliath right, then it doesn't bode well for the rest of the series if they are going to do more. At least NECA's slightly more realistic take can afford to be a little off model. In other good news, my Hudson has shipped! Whoooo! Display case is filling up!
Too big in the middle and that diaphragm cut is godawful. The face is ok, but I’m already doing the NECA line for considerably less.
Not a chance! I already own NECA's Goliath for far less. I love Gargoyles, but this is not a line I'm double-dipping on characters unless it's like Xanatos in power armor and business suit or something like that.
Found Hudson at Walmart. He is terrific apart from yet again having hair/wing interference. They really need to figure out a way around that. Can’t wait to complete the team and get a few more “cloaked” wings as man do they take up space.
