I tried adding the Earthrise headsculpt onto that just to get a better idea of how SS86 Ratchet might look, I think it works decently!

I'm hoping SS 86 Ratchet gets a new hipskirt and not just a new head.

Sorry if I misunderstood, but with the only thing you changed in your edit being swapping the shoulder emblem for a more straight-up Red Cross symbol, it seemed like you were.

Someone unaffiliated with Hasbro posting a digibash of a toy doesn't exactly translate to said person requesting Hasbro do something that would get them sued. Though if we're being honest I'd love to see red cross try that again, since I'm sure the optics of some crusty fuddy duddies coming down on a toy manufacturer for putting a red cross on their good guy toy would make them look really good and not at all petty.

On the other hand, someone with who has previously got their knickers in a knot over the matter can safely be presumed to be calling for just that. Especially when their hobby-horse is cartoon-accuracy to an absurd level.

I assume he'll get the same logo he got on the Legends toy. Or the MP.

That is the reason i dont like clear plastic they are not durable and expensive is better to paint silver, blue or anything the windows it would not cause durability issues and be less expensive

Looks good. I usually pick and choose which parts of the set I use as I rarely use it all but this one would be sn exception, surprisingly even the windows as I usually don't like window stickers.

Just got this guy and I'm enjoying him quite a bit! The skirt mod was also really easy which was nice

Anyone have tips for removing Earthrise Ironhide's head? I wanted to see what a head swap would look like, since I really like the siege/ER head sculpt. Doesnt seem easy to pop off, only method I can think of would be cutting along the seam of the two head halves. Don't really want to do that

Yeah, definitely don't do that. Take the neck/balljoint and slide it off the body, then you can exert more strength to yank it off, which is the only way to really do it. Also, pulling it to the side or back should make it pop off easier. Trying to yank it off like a headmaster is a lot harder, not just for SS86 but in general.

I caved and bought SS86 on a whim and the ER head works so much better and made me realize what I have (had) an issue with him. The original head is bigger and shrinks the body. The smaller ER head makes SS86 look bigger and doesn't look so small. I put the 86 head on ER and it gives ER IH even more size.

I'd post pics of the ER head on 86 but it's my slightly damaged head from a custom mistake. When I find my spare clean head I'll post it. But it does look good.

I’m not gonna lie, even removing the head bracket from the figure it isn’t really going for me. It feels like you either need to split the head or heat it, and I generally don’t like boiling or using a heat gun on transformers. Most action figures it’s fine but I’ve had bad luck warping figures and not being able to transform them after the fact

I do agree about the proportions though, besides er/siege having a better face, the head size makes a huge difference on silhouette and proportions
