Dude, go outside and touch grass, literally. If you think a kid's toy franchise about fighting space robots is actually affecting your mental health that's a pretty massive indicator that you should consider a break from the brand. It's so not worth it my guy.

 

I hope he has a similar look to Josh Nizzi's art here. Especially in the face, with that Dooku special, the Signature Look of Superiority™

 

Damn, I dig that. Josh Nizzi is such a talented artist. I personally love his take on Megatron that was supposed to be used for that cancelled Prime 1 statue.

 

My only real complaint is the tread cape. Not a fan of it but still what a great job he did.

I feel like he’ll be close to this and Megatank 3p Megatron.

I still wanna see how this design looks.

Its sheer bulk emphasizes to me how strong Megatron must be to just be casually carrying it around all the time.

 

It would, but I feel like this art and Megatank (which is based on this fan art) Megatron cannon is just a little too big.

 

I mean Megatron's cannon was always designed to be comically oversized to show how "evil" he is, so it really makes sense when you look into it

 

Yeah, this is what I was thinking of as well. Though I heard Yolopark has seen the design and is making a model kit for it or something.

 

They have it from what I remember and they showed someone the design and talked about it on the boards here. There is a thread about it. I wonder if they might be saving it cause Paramount wants to use it. Cause I remember I like @Lazlow007 asking a concept artist on BB wanted to share concept art for the film about Megatron and they couldn’t.

 

I especially hope he is characterized like Dooku. Not a pathetic screaming brute who keeps getting upstaged by his subordinates, but an actual competent and calm (but scary) leader, like Animated Megatron. Or even Gus Fring.

 

It's truly a shame that some of Nizzi's absolute best movie-esque designs never got to be in a movie proper. :/

If they ever decide to slim Optimus down at some point in this trilogy, I hope he looks something like this

 

Before BB that Optimus was like the first movie like design I saw that I felt could make G1 live action designs work (before I thought those designs never could work in LA). I will say I’d love to see that Laserbeak concept art used as a basis for the future. Cause it looks good.

 

Fan-made but I had a feeling some folks around here would appreciate such an awesome piece: created by the incredibly talented Mario Razum.

 

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the feet (very bird like than Gorilla imo) but it’s so minor and just so damn impressive especially with it being made not by a vfx studio but by one person. Crazy the time we live in and how talented some are.

 

It'd be interesting to see if this an official design whether it shares any elements with the Tiny Turbo changer.

I still find it hard to believe that Hasbro would make up a totally new Megatron design for that toy line when even the main two Deceptions were just repaints of existing figures and they could've just repainted on of the existing movie Megatron figures too.

Just today we got confirmation that Prime 1 will be releasing a version of Nizzi's tread-cape Megs, so hopefully that means these other great designs will get a chance to be seen in full.
