Well, you see that’s the problem. Legacy G2 Jhiaxus is too weird for my taste, and it is already started discoloring while in packaging at store. So as much as I really want a Jhiaxus, probably not like this.

Mine arrived Thursday. Some frustratingly loose joints.

Ordered mine from Amazon and the driver left it in the rain. The box was soaked, the toys packaging was moderately wet and the toy itself was just cold to the touch more than anything, but the joints are extremely loose and the legs pop off so easily. I don't know if I just got unlucky with bad QC or it being in the rain for about an hour caused the problem, if that's even possible. Normally I wouldn't care, but I was quite excited for this figure.

Very unlikely??? Like, very little of Jhiaxus's visible plastic is nylon. It's all internal. It's more likely you saw his intended pigmentation, which is an off-white.

The one copy I initially saw at a store is slightly discolored on his right hip panel. The one I brought don’t have that problem.

I got mine Friday, overall I actually like it a lot. There’s just a few things that bother me:

    - Neck ball joint is right at the back of the head so looking to the side in any way looks odd.
    - Wrists have the hinge going the right way for sword wielding poses, but the hinged panel stops it from moving more than a tiny bit.
    - Right thigh mushroom peg works itself out whenever you move it.
    - Waist swivel is much looser and easier to move than either hip joint or thigh swivel.

I do wish he had the red paint on the tip of his cannons, has anyone found a good paint match for that? I didn’t think it would bug me as much as it does :lol

The lack of Swindle doesn’t bother me, but if DNA offers a set that includes a new back plate with a little detachable Swindle car, a painted wing sword, better articulated hands and maybe even new feet I’d be in.

I like him, though mine has loose shoulders and the leg transformation going to jet mode is kinda fiddly.

Mine is also a tiny bit loose/floppy. I don’t think it’s bad enough to be a problem now but will see if it is in the future.

The figure looks great, especially in robot mode next to Siege and ER but it’s definitely a lighter figure and definitely smaller in jet mode compared to the other two.

Not gonna lie, I am mildly disappointed over the lightness and looseness. SS86 Ironhide arrived last week and he’s rock solid.

Hasbro, stop with the cost cutting. You’re treading dangerously here. :(

Regardless, I’m very pleased overall and to finally pose him with other versions of SS. Bring on the repaints! (With tighter joints!)

Hasbro is hellbent to raise profits by 50% in three years in the middle of a recession. Better hope that it just doesn't get worse.

It definitely wasn't being in the rain, as mine wasn't at all exposed to the rain and I have most of the same issues. Seems like a batch issue, or possibly an overall mold issue.

Opened mine a little bit ago, and holy crap I love him!

I'll take all the repaints Hasbro, and please PLEASE PLEASE give him a heavy orange Jhiaxus remold like you did in Generations. As beautiful as that design is at Deluxe size, it'll completely blow me away at Voyager size. :D

I had a problem with looseness too which was a massive bummer on a figure I was hugely anticipating, but after tightening those up with some floor polish I'm having a really great time with this guy. Really think they could have designed some elements better (like how certain bits tab together in robot mode) but overall it's a great figure once those tolerances are tightened.

Those that have said that this figure has loose joints are absolutely correct. He feels awful in hand.

My first copy had spaghetti legs and arms, new copy I got from Amazon is pretty good aside from his left arm feeling a bit loose.

Second that. Mine is quite solid. So it seems to be just standard variability (I recall the way the left arm was visibly loose in Emgo's review).

Weird he doesn’t have Mini-Con ports anywhere except on the Star Saber. Not ideal, but if you still have Swindle, at least there’s somewhere to put him.
