I'm honestly impressed with how much of the outer frame was remolded instead of simply recolored for the Strike Noir. It makes me more bummed that this isn't a general release though, as without a markup I'd consider it despite wanting to hold off on Seed figures. I really enjoy the Strike and this seems like a great complement to it.

Then again, I need to save display space for all these newly announced figures that are complete different molds rather than remolds... Loving all the UC reveals!

To be fair, even on the Master Grade kit, there isn't any reuse of base-Strike armor parts because the external design is completely different.
So it's even less of a surprise that it's still the case here on the Metal Build.

They called it 00 Gundam Prototype. The name is pretty self explanatory.

Also the arms went up earlier today so if you're buying the Exia Devise you're obligated to by this accessory and if you don't, you a punk!

I guess I can get the GN Arms and put it with my avalanche Exia? I want to get it but I don’t want to buy a whole other Exia to display it lol

Can you imagine a Metal Build Shin Getter 2 & 3? It will never happen but it would be glorious.

I used to be all about Katoki’s designs 20 years ago and I like how the GFFMC line is continuing.

Feeling nostalgic and will be more excited if Bandai makes Okawara-based OYW figures in the METAL BUILD line.

The press release only mentions compatibility with devise exia. Very frustrating, clearly a ploy to sell more of the self-warmer devise. We might have to wait till the actual release, to learn of GN Arms' compatibility with other exia releases...

How are you getting this as a ploy to sell shelf warming devises? The devise is literally just a base exia with a new backpack, every Exia is almost the same figure, they all have the exact same GN drive connector. The only exia you wouldn't be able to mount is the R4. The promo video doesn't even show a devise exia attached, its the regular exia, those subarms are from the G-Sefer.

I am just going by the press release. It states combine with Metal build devise exia, without mentioning anything about former exia releases. Hence, there's no confirmation about GN Arms' compatibility with past MB Exia(s) . We can only speculate. Those 3D renders are just that, 3D renders, the coupling mechanism is still not fully understood.

I do know hope that GN Arms' is compatible with other exia variants, becuz I don't intend to spend another penny on another Exia variant.

I think you're really overanalyzing this, there's literally only one place it could connect to on the Exia lol. This isn't some early 3D render they whipped up last week to show off, it's on display and ready to go with a release date. They originally showed the GN Arms THREE YEARS AGO, it's been around since 2019.

Same here! If that happens, I will drop all my other lines and solely focus on the Metal Build line. I want Doms, Z’goks, Gelgoogs etc.

Bingo Bandai sells us extra plastic for no reason.
Once you buy 4 of those ligers at release, 3 years down the road they will release core ligers lol.
