I\'d have preferred they skipped the Targetmaster accessories and used the budget to make a way for his nosecone to collapse up behind his back. Aside from that, this is a really good looking figure.

I’m convinced you don’t like this franchise at all. Pointblank is mediocre, sure, but Needlenose looks glorious even with the so-so targetmasters. The articulation is far superior compared to the average deluxe. Also wtf do you mean broken these look very intact to me

If I could be in charge for a day, I'd modify the alt mode as a spaceship, thus eliminating the underbelly kibble issue.

    Random thought....

Needlenose looks like a fun figure to pose. Glad his figure turned out well

As far as tall Deluxe figures go, I dont expect for all Deluxe's to be super tall but I do wish that Elita-1's mold was this same height, while still managing good quality.

Plus we know that the average pricing for Deluxe's won't remain at $25 anyway...

Counterpoint: now I'm not that big a fan of Titans Return, but those headmasters were small, had articulation, and were on a deluxe budget. I bet I could design a flip up gun barrel to take the place of the faceplate, and have the heels be the 5mm handle.

Targetmasters, like headmasters, do nothing for me. The headmasters are always going to be the heads so I don’t care for it, and targetmasters usually look too big and dumb as guns. These are a fine compromise.

for me it’s the hollowness on this guy. Now hollowness doesn’t always bother me, but comparing this guy and spinister, at least Spinister has some raised pieces and detail in the cavities to make it less obvious, there’s just nothing here. It just looks cheap, the figures are definitely getting worse in that regard, at up until this year they’d put some detail in the gaps, those forearms look awful, and it’s not even for transformation like the legs

Titans Returns was also able to spread its budget more by sharing a lot of toolings between the various figures, whereas the Legacy figures are more unique (obvious direct retools aside).

Tbh, for the Targetmasters just add some arm articulation at the shoulders and I’m good. The leg articulation of the Siege guys just seems wasted as you can’t really do too many things with them outside of a kick. Obviously, though, I get that Needlenose can’t fit all that in, though.

You’re very brave coming in and saying that :lol

I agree, for the most part. My only issue is that Spinister’s TMs are now way smaller and less accurate than Needlenose’s.

Also, the various *masters are my favorite toys as I love Transformers with little partners. It saddened me that we didn’t get Swindle or Drill Bit. I’d like them even more if some fiction fleshed them out more than the few who got it in the Headmasters limited series.

I am okay with the Targetmasters he's packed with, however I do not understand why they didn't just reuse the TM's that came with Scoop?

Needlenose himself however is fantastic. A lot of great little details that pick up from the G1 figure and he even transforms very similar.

Not that I'm ever a big fan of reusing moulds, however I assume this will become Windsweeper. Hopefully if they do, he gets some decent remoulding for the nosecone, wings and chest plate (second head is obvious).
