True, I do wonder where the cutscenes came from

 

So some people smarter than me have pointed out how strangely cheap this looks for a AAA cutscene, so I would put that out there that this could lead more towards a fake.

And even SilverOptimus is baffled at the thought of this coming out (soonish?). I mean, they have so many other projects in the works right now that we have heard about, but we haven't heard anything about this one for a very long time, means we are either going to get a dump truck load very soon, or its just a fake for attention. I have a very hard time believing this is still happening when there has been no PR hype, or even an official reveal, let alone damage control for the supposed leaked info.

 

If it’s fake then it’s fake. If it’s real then cool. It seems a little high effort for it to just be fake in my opinion tho. VA from Steve Blum, or at least a sound alike and 2 other characters in the trailer. The voice acting seems pretty high quality and there’s 2 an entire animatics. Seems like a lot of effort for just a fake.

Destiny 2 has plenty of cutscenes of the same quality, if not lower, as the ones leaked.

 

The only thing I have to go off of was the 5 year window. If the game is complete and the only thing they are waiting on is Transformers Rise of the Beasts Marketing to be released. Then that is the only sole reason why the game would be delayed further. Plus covid did hit everyone hard for development. We forget easily that covid was a major issue within the game development scene for a lot of companies. I have no doubt Certain Affinity also had the same effects, on top of that Leyou Technologies blowing up on themselves. The only thing is we can hear Steve Blum voice acting as starscream and Jon Bailey as Optimus Prime. I tend to doubt this isn't real but if it isn't real. A lot of time and money was spent putting together the biggest Non-April Fools Joke in Transformers History. While I continue to be skeptical even myself despite covering it on my own video. I do wonder the exact same things. The main things to look at right now is that Lead Narrator Designer. I looked it up and only found one source. Which doesn't match up to the past information of the Job posting. I wish I had an official link to that. However, that could have been changed since I checked it out. We've seen it in the past how quick Certain Affinity is to as you said damage control things. Like the podcast with the new game title Transformers Rise. They swapped that out in hours of it going live on all platforms.

 

Ok so I saw this on Twitter and Tom Henderson is a reliable video game leaker so I guess it is indeed still happening then

 

Well I'll be damned, its the official source I was waiting for, it's legit.

This leak may be real after all, and now that a big name like Tom Henderson has reported on it, an official response now has to be made. If even more reliable people in the gaming journalism section report on this like Jason Schrerier and Yong Yea report on this, it means this footage is 100% legit and that an official response will have to be made.

Now the ultra million dollar question of the hour:

Is this game still in development or is this leaked footage of a cancelled game.

 

There's a couple of ways to find out either ask one of them about the status of the game or wait for the game awards next month

 

My thoughts exactly. I was just about to say the same thing, if this game is still in development, then the Game Awards would be the place to reveal it, especially now that it has been leaked and more and more people are covering it.

 

The time tables align pretty well. ROTB will be revealed at CCXP 2022 December 1-4th. The Game Awards on the 8th. Even if we don’t see ROTB at that particular event, their marketing strategy begins that month so we can expect to see more on the movie very shortly.

We should remember part of the reason for the game’s name change was to cross promote both medias to maximize their success.

Any one else seeing these two empty place holders when you search for Transformers on the xbox store? Over the years, I've noticed Xbox creates the empty placeholders for future listings for games. I see them pop up every now and again on the Xbox store for various upcoming games. Granted, it could be for any game, or it could be nothing, so take it with a grain of salt. Anyone else able to confirm these two empty placeholders when you search for it on the Xbox store?

Could be for the Certain Affinity Game, could also be for the Earthspark Game.

 

I don’t own Xbox but two others in Luna’s Discord ended with the same result, two placeholder icons.

 

So this game would have been about the Autobots and decepticons trapped on earth fighting nanomanchines, Son! Very random but ok.

 

hmm. if this game is still happening, I wonder if the toy line either got canceled or was folded into the SS war for cybertron line?

And if a takedown wasn't issued or a statement claiming they aren't apart of this after this then...

The info could most very likely be 100% legit.

Now the million dollar question. Is it still coming out or is it canned.

 

Did Transformers Impact turn into Transformers Rise or are they 2 separate things.

 

If the game was truly cancelled, it would have happened awhile ago behind closed doors. Long enough for the NDA to be lifted. It’s safe to assume that perhaps it was renewed and any sort of action against the leaks would be against the contract agreement

 

Impact was the original name until it was changed to Online and then to Rise.

 

I wonder If our leaked has asked him about the status of the game. Like at this pointed I feel like they're not hiding it as hard. But we shall see what happens

 

That's the thing that truly confuses me.

It's like they are in Limbo, they aren't actively promoting the game, but are also letting leaks be shown like it was cancelled.

I think Bumblebee called it above, they are in some weird limbo Grey area with the game and contracts around the game.
