If the issue is the peg being too large for the fist holes then the only real solution is shaving down the peg a little so it fits properly. Easy enough to do with a bit of sand paper.

Mine is fine, but I didn't put it past the first segment, which is thinner, I believe.

The issue with Flamewar is NOT Fireglide's handle being too large - it's that her right hand hole is either too small or slightly warped. Try her wheel gun, or any other 5mm weapon and you'll see that it's still too tight of a fit for the hand. I would guess the sanding down the inside of the hand at the thickest part, near the wrist, might work better. But I'm not a customizer, so I'll let someone with more experience determine if that's right.

This is exactly why I bought a 5mm drill bit. Easiest "customization" method there is.

Hopefully my hand doesn't crack. I didn't know that was an issue and I had her posed with one of Recon Ironhide's guns which has always had a pretty thick peg in my experience.

Pretty good, about on par with the rest of the series so far.

Pushed my luck...Apparently putting that gun in 5 or 6 times was fine. But 7? Nah that broke it.

To be clear, It wasn't her axe that did it. That was actually a pretty loose fit on mine. I wanted to give her the minigun that came with old movie 2 Recon Ironhide. And that gun has always had an extremely thick handle. So it was definitely my own fault.

Ouch. So it’s best not to put a weapon on her right hand ever unless I do some minor sanding off?

She showed up. I’m guessing since no reply to my question, maybe I won’t put any weapons on her right hand to be safe. Perhaps just have the weapons installed in storage mode

You can use the ports on her arm for a pseudo crossbow mode

Do what I did years ago: buy a 5mm drill bit and run it through* any tight "5mm" holes. It has helped immeasurably with Hasbro's lack of consistency

*Turn the bit by hand, not by power drill!

Ok. I’ll use the arrow mode and not put it in her right hand. If her left hand has no defects, that’s good as well

At least test the right hand before deciding not to use it at all.
