Thats not even old, that’s literally the last set of Stunticons we got. Wildrider was just Dead End with a new head and people went nuts for it.

 

I agree with that, and I would include the whole thing with the backpack on him and Wildrider too. I give them credit for trying something different, but that meant they had to put some budget into a feature that required extra parts for just some additional option that might not even be used that much anyway.

We got this Breakdown and yet a guy that was in 3 episodes gets a new figure.

 

To be fair, minus the wrong head, Pointblank was in a lot of Headmaster episodes from Japan, and since they're making Japanese characters now, everyone is fair game.

 

And here I thought I was old enough to remember retools are a thing now and how extensive they can and have been.

With JTPrime saying that these L:E figs are in us ports I hope this guy comes quicker than March. Just want the best Stunticon on my shelf.

I want him just for a future Baldigus, but with how badly they handled Menasor (IMO, relax), I'm wary of what they'll do to the Combaticons.

 

I'm going to give Mr. Maher the benefit of the doubt here and assume that this is a veiled dig at management. There's just no fuckin' way he thought the spoiler-as-axe solution was "WICKED!" He's telling us "Listen, I knew we needed a spoiler. This is the best we could do."

Then again this part just straight-up admits that budget crunch was to blame:

With the size limit of the new mold, if it was down to a choice between either a new chest piece or a new hood, I think the right choice was made.

I wish both were possible, but to me it's not at all a deal breaker.

 

Personally would’ve preferred a retooled hood over a retooled rear section.

 

They should have taken more of the budget from Breakdown and given it to Armada Screamer and Hot Shot...
