And now we continue the game of "When the f*ck will they actually show up?"

Every store around here has apparently been cursed with only having Ravage and Shockwave. This is utter pain.

 

Well that's nice...never saw the spike wave or the wheelie wave here in western PA.

 

Definitely getting Rumble. I have yet to see anything beyond the first wave at retail though. It's very frustrating

The Movie Shockwave and Ravage pegwarming all year mean that as usual, I need to get online orders in as backups at the very least.

Probably 75% of my new figures are online orders now. There's a chance I find Rumble (blue) at Target, but the odds are much higher that Pulse or Amazon put them up before I see them in person!

 

Spike just barely started making appearances at a couple local Walmarts around here a couple weeks ago. Only have Wheelie thanks to Amazon. Hasbro is going to have to re-ship those in a "revision case" at some point.

I do not have Spike yet, but have Wheelie from pulse. Want to hear a sad story?....I accidentally threw away Wheelie's slingshot because I missed it in the packaging   Between the toilet paper wrapped weapons and the old school plastic ties I somehow missed that it was just slotted into the cardboard. I'm temporarily using the version that came with Grimlock. Not sure if I will buy another Wheelie just for the slingshot if I ever see him in a store though.

 

Did they mention rereleasing Netflix Soundwave as a Studio Series 86 release?

 

Did they? Well, that'd be nice!!

 

There was one 86 Rumble at the Ridge Ave Target in Philly, so I grabbed that. There was 2 Wheelie's as well but I didn't touch those.

Found Rumble and Ironhide in Oklahoma. Only got the blue boy.

 

I certainly wouldn't pay an extra $10 just for a little cheap piece of gray plastic.

Same. For people who don't have tr Wheelie or prefer 87 Wheelue then that's fine. But as someone who owns tr Wheelie than I don't think I could justify $4 either.

Now for $1 than sure. I'll just sell them for retail price for profit.

 

Just a fyi the reason the box is so big on some of these figures is to save money.   A machine has to be tooled to cut the boxes to the desired size and shape.   While the printing of the box a different color/pattern doesn\'t really cost anything getting the cutting machine retooled does.   So I mean if you want to pay 15 dollars for rumble instead of 12 I guess they could make a box especially for him, otherwise it\'s one size per class of figure.

 

That's definitely one of those situations where I'd just make one myself.

It would be very awkward for me if it were gifted to me, because even then I wouldn't want it and I don't even have the TR version.

Hasbro did indicate they just got rights back to the Netflix tapedeck mold when they did SG Soundwave.

We have the Studio Series lineup for 2023 leaked and there are no slots for it.

It's quite likely, I'd say, that we see Netflix Soundwave's mold in Buzzworthy Bumblebee in 2023.

Could be as Soundwave. Could be labeled SS86 like some BB figures. Or it could be as Soundblaster.

I wouldn't expect anything but the Netflix mold again over the next year though.
