I had Delta Baser for a few days, my second copy after Lightning Eagle (from last month...).
Personally I am a huge fan, but now that I have two copies of the "Power Baser mold" I would not buy a Nemesis Baser or Caprisun Baser. I can see why Delta Baser didn't sell out immediately: it's a considerable investment in space, more than in money. It's a toy which is not for everybody, and not because of the price point, which is quite OK considering the quality of what you get.

 

That better not have been a dig at Machine Wars Optimus.

MW Optimus is one of my favorite Optimus designs.

 

i prefer to call it Orange Julius.  

 

I've been trying to find a place to store ye olde Powermaster double-guns on the trailer while the new Magnusian missiles take their place at the front, and this is the best I've come up with:



As you can see, thanks to the swivel for turret mode, it's very droopy. If only there were more round ports on either the trailer or Bomber!

the base mode is not too bad, but I don't think I'll see it ever again.

In supah mode, I am now struggling to make it stand without aid, it tends to fall backwards.

 

Dang, after seeing how awesome this is in person, I.... I kinda want the orange version.

Definitely not gonna happen until next year, though.

Is it collapsing because of ratchets giving way, or is it just off-balance? If it's ratchets giving way, you may have gotten a lemon (in that respect). If it's just off balance, try tilting one of the legs to the side some, that helped with any stability issues I had. Don't point them both straight forward, even with ankle tilts engaged.

 

I designed and 3D printed some shoulder armor to make God Delta look more like Delta Magnus. If you are interested in printing out a set, the files are available for free on my Cults.

the ratchets are not particularly weak, but it does feel it can't really hold any poses other than the one where it doesn't fall backwards....
