They are, but their is a fear that it may be a larger trend. Whether that is actually is the case remains to be seen.
Rodimus looks spectacular. Was eh on Prime and Megatron, but he looks to be on Bumblebee's level. Keeping an eye on that one. I think that's because they're limited releases. Lower runs, higher costs, reflected in the price. Same reason why Selects figures tend to run more.
Holy crap!! I love the design and love that the colors are more or less show inspired!! Definitely thought Hasbro would intervene and make them make the shins red/the whole paint scheme generic red and yellowish orange. Nice!! My only gripe from what I see so far is that his guns look dainty and almost nothing like the gun he should have. I know RP’s gun is thinner than Prime’s, & I guess they’re trying to riff off that size difference?? But it looks too small. Hopefully there’s more guns not shown, but probably not.
I don't like that the pipes on his wrists are covered. They're there -but covered. Why? But I love everything else. Totally buying this.
Im just abit curious, why was cliffjumper not done well? From the product pics, I cant tell as Im not experienced. Some of my favs, even if I dont own it are megs and nemesis prime. I might have to make my entry into the threezero line. Not really related but I hope cliffjumper doesnt become jetfire number 2, meaning that the product pics and the final version are totally different
Overall excellent designs for this line, and I'm extremely looking forward to seeing the Seekers! The one thing that bothers me about the Hot Rod is the fact that this bot might have 'wings' the same size (or even bigger, will see!) than those of a Seeker. Yes, agreed. We all know they look cool in robot mode (not sure if they would look as cool in car mode though!) but for someone new to the character, I bet his/her first guess of Hot Rod´s alternate mode, after seeing this figure, is a jet or aircraft of some sort
