It is weird to see how very close the Warrior is to the deluxe. I get the designs are the same but some of the way things are done are very close.

 

It's a reviewer's job to review a figure though... if you don't want to hear it, simply close this thread and buy it.

Didn't see the "Earthspark" part in the title at first and wondered for a moment "wait, when was there listing for a Deluxe Megatron?".

 

Equating buying a stolen factory reject to murder. That escalated quickly.

 

That wasn’t the point of their post at all. It was pointing out how awful of an excuse thst is.

Interesting design for Megatron. Not totally sold on the altmode, but I wasn\'t sold on Animated\'s copter at first but it ended up being one of my favorite versions of Megatron in all TF fiction. Can\'t wait to see more. I love how G1 yet not G1 this new series is with its designs.

 

Usually the Deluxes are significantly better figures, in this case I'm not sure that the Warrior isn't the better figure. Depending on how tight the elbow covering rotor is, the Warrior may even be able to tilt-rotor or at least assume that position, something the Deluxe can't due to the rotating forearm cover.

 

I don't understand why these toys have to be so cheap and unsubstantial. When the design is simple and the price is high, build a nice simple lovely painted chunkster of a toy like the old Armada figures. This level of flimsy at this price is an insult.

 

I'll just paraphrase the comment I made on the video itself.
Deluxe = very meh figure in all ways.
Warrior = very surprised it seems to be the better version.

I'll give it one thing, it might make a good base for a custom of some sort.

 

I have a theory that the extra budget from these toy's sales just goes into the Generations lines...

 

Less an excuse and more so a reason it doesn’t matter in the slightest.

hm, Megatron is an interesting Helicopter-Boat kind of design...I wonder if this will qualify for Studio Series treatment in the future so they can polish the design a bit more

 

I would actually like that tbh. The alt mode is unique enough to the point where I'd be happy to pick it up if there's more detail and articulation. But for the comparisons between Deluxe and Warrior, I feel it's not enough to not warrant both. I'm personally sticking with the Deluxe however, as I like the incorporation of the weapon and that the legs are molded for a cleaner look in the alt mode.

On the subject of the actual review though, I absolutely hate it. And it's not just because of the reviewer and the issue of stolen goods, but it's due to what comes from doing so. When I tried doing some reviews myself when I first get a product, the reviews aren't a true and honest take of how I feel about a figure. It takes a day or two of having the figure and fiddling with it to determine the pros and cons of a design. What you may have disliked at first may grow on you, and vice versa.
So I'm going to call it out, his reviews are ****. Decide on your own how you feel about a product instead of letting a shill like-baiter decide your opinions for you.
