Ordered myself one of those yesterday, very excited about it.

Why did you expect the £36.99 price out of interest? It's a deluxe figure so £26.99 is higher than normal selects pricing but then preceptor was £22.99 as it was a studio series release.

The black version of Perceptor is the original microchange version that predates Transformers. The character is a Deception military commander who was framed and exiled into pit fighting, eventually becoming a skilled hand to hand fighter as well as a strategist.

 

He's a rogue Decepticon Commander who was framed as a criminal by his own command staff, exiled into the far reaches of space, and ended up in a gladiatorial pit fighting circuit (a sort-of Decepticon Maximus from Gladiator), who has the ability to use his matter-enlarging scope to enlarge microscopic sized objects to macroscopic size.
He, possibly inadvertently, used this ability to bring his humanoid partner Ga'Mede to Macroscopic scale from his Microversal home planet Xeptos, where he was facing a similar issue of being usurped as royalty, and is now Magnifcus' utterly devoted sidekick.
Magnificus is now out of the pits, and on a course for revenge against the lieutenants that framed him!

My replacement Galactus for my missing one arrived today.

The tracking on the original item still says that DPD have received the details but have yet to take possession of the item. I'm now tempted to post the tracking number of that online- the item is valuable enough that potential bounty hunters might take it upon themselves to pay DPD a visit. I reckon a few visits from some disreputable types might just the impetus DPD staff need to up their game!

Nice! What’s your impressions of her? The backpack tools pretty clunky in some shots (and the feet a bit clog like), but I’m otherwise tempted.

this dude is pretty much what I expected - not bad, not great.


The things I though would be annoying design decisions are (limited hip range due to his thigh boot things, not having pinless/therefore sturdier elbows) and he’s on the general feel of hasbro 6ins verse (doesn’t feel high quality in general)
BUT he’s Galvatron, so automatically better than 90% of toys, plus (despite my shitness at taking pics) he has presence. And can do some expressive body language his chug mate can’t. I really do hope they continue with RED in any case. Partly because they do seem to be improving, partly because I needs me a Rodimus prime in the same style!
