    You don't. Nobody does.

If Deathsaurus does well enough we could see them continue to tap in to Japanese characters even outside Victory.

Hence why I qualified the speculative question with, "if they continue the emphasis on the Japanese continuity in Haslab." Meaning, if they want to make a more complex figure, but don't have the budget for it in Generations retail price points, might they say to hell with their stated "rule" and justify it after the fact by saying, "Well it's not technically Optimus?" :lol  I mean it's their show, they can do whatever they want at the end of the day.

Either way though, I just hope to see it happen someday. And I hope if it does, if it's outside of Haslab, that the Commander Class price point and budget is able to accommodate what I want from it. If not, I'm fine with it being Haslab, which was my point. Their "rule" be damned. More than happy for them to backtrack on that if it gets me the toy I want.

This guy gets cooler the more I look at him. And I get more excited.

His big sword can be carried on his back, right?

You don’t but you can guess. Like if after you back it you see that it says 4 203 backers you can call yourself backer 4 203.

It's not "sabotaged" if anything it proves the early bird gimmick worked to draw that extra 1500 backers the problem is there wasn't enough interest to overcome the cost even with the early bird.

LioKaiser 100% would have to be a HasLab if we/they wanted to be good. Landcross is an easy retail release if they’re all sold at core class or as you said 3 double packs in voyager slots. Hasbro has already basically laid the groundwork with the WFC weaponizers, fossilizers, and characters like Skytread.

road Caesar I could also see as retail because it would only take up 3 retail slots. This one I think is a bit tougher than Landcross though because it really depends on one of the 3 being sold in a premium leader class slot. I’d love it if it could happen but I don’t know that Transformer Victory Blacker would even be on the table. The other route is to make it the most inexpensive HasLab, which would be fine too

Yes there were a couple shots in the video with it on his back, as well as the arrow too. I wonder if the Cannon and Flail can be stored as well. The Cannon does fold up so maybe there is a spot on his back for it.

The problem is the early bird did hurt it because since it didn't fund people backed out. Then some other people saw those people back out and decided they should too. And so on and so on. That is why the EoV has been slowly decreasing by about 20 backers a days ever since it didn't get the early bird. It is not like the Rancor where a bunch of people dropped at once with the news of the tiers but stayed stagnant over a few weeks before it picked back up in the end. even the Rancor didn't have a continuous decline like the EoV. This is coming from someone who still has the EoV backed too.

I get that Hasbro doesn’t operate on the assumption that fans know what’s coming, but the VS leaks were very helpful last year with budgeting. And I get that Hasbro technically hinted at it, but “biggest reveal of the year” is the sort of flavour text that can apply to a lot of things and doesn’t necessarily imply something expensive. A Transformers Haslab was also teased a month before the official reveal of VS, which would’ve helped even if we hadn’t gotten the leaks.
And yes, I get that technically 45 days is a reasonably long amount of time to save up for someone working full time, but as someone who’s still not done with their education I can only get a significant amount of paid work done during seasonal days off, and even though Halloween is coming up I’m not sure how much I can get done due to other commitments. At the very least I already had some cash saved up so I can get DS as the other things I wanted are lower priority, but some sort of advance warning is appreciated.

Oh definitely why this seems to be funding at a faster rate. Less hesitation to back this if you already got his adversary coming.

I forget, did the Rancor even back all the way?
Did it reach its initial goal?

Again it just means the interest wasn't there initially. It's like comparing it to the Thundertank a $500 vehicle with no electronics yet people eagerly jumped on it because they wanted it no matter the cost.

Weren’t those renders? I meant the painted pictures of the prototype.

Yeah… I wonder who else they could do with this method? Magnaboss and then Tripredacus? Interesting to think about.
