They're fantastic toys, great alt modes, fun robot modes, and the combination is killer. I say don't hesitate if you're willing to pay the current prices.

The only things I dislike are that Beast parts forms his robot arms, Big Trail's hammer doesn't store anywhere in alt mode, and the Tokeys also don't store in alt mode. Otherwise they're tons of fun.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Beast and Big Trail. I might also get the red car. I feel like I heard about Big Trail a few years ago, is Tobot as a line over or are there more current releases?

The line itself is at least a decade old. I haven’t heard anything about a new season, but I’d be surprised if it doesn’t continue given it’s lasting success and the fact that the last season didn’t end that long ago. I have a few saved searches that usually alert me to new products and always share them with this thread so just keep an eye out.

There are also more recent releases than what’s on Amazon right now. There’s a few myself and others have taken pictures of in the thread.

The most current releases – as far as I'm aware – are the Tobot V line, which the bots you just got are a part of. Pretty much anything from that line is fantastic, with great sculpting and charismatic robot and alt modes. The more recent Tobot Vs, from Captain Jack onward, are numbered and have both robot and alt mode storage for the Tokeys, which imo is a big plus. Of the ones I own, I most highly recommend Wild Chief (02), Regent (04), and Air Hyde (06).

I'm sorry I just have one more question y'all have been great! Is there an easy way to tell which ones combine beyond guessing around the images or reviews? Has someone put together a FAQ?

..Also speaking of combining? Are any of the three part vehicle combiners worth looking into

Hey! No worries! Happy to answer questions. Giant V and Justice V combine. Iron Admiral and Tank Guy combine. Master V combines with the drill tank, train, and stealth bomber. I’ve really liked all the combiners without individual robot modes I’ve messed with, you just gotta be aware of that going into them. Out of those though, some Tobot S1 combiners are especially nice.

Old pics but I think these will at least help identify.

TOBOT V WILD CHIEF jeep US seller | eBay

Good auction for one of the best Tobots- considering how few people are looking for Tobots online, worth keeping an eye on. Actually I just follow the seller since he tends to offload a lot of Korean toys pretty cheaply.

So tobots are back for 2023! And instead of Tobot V, we’re going back to the original Tobots! I’ll miss the super robots of V, but it’ll be fun to see the design updates.

Several sellers on AliExpress have some of the slightly older Tobot V, Tobot X, and Tobot Z toys. There's black Friday coupon codes of 15OFF for $15 off a $100 order and 40 OFF for $40 off a $220 order.

Beautiful so far! Wonder what other things they'll do. Hoping for a dragon, or at least a yellow mech.

One of the best things about tobots is the security of knowing they'll be on amazon for easy grabs lol

It's too bad that they don't have a headmaster/Human Alliance type gimmick where the head robots can sit inside the vehicles. They're gonna be way too easy to lose. Otherwise, they look really cool. I appreciate how far the aesthetics and kibble management have improved over the past couple years.

Watch as the later ones have the ability to do so. Or even better, we get a carrier vehicle of some sorts later on that not only transforms, but can even store all the little characters.

Looks like you can keep the minifigures inside the mech while it transforms, so that's great
