It can't be helped, like it or not, we are approaching endgame. They'll try to push as many secondary characters as they can before the ones you really want, they might loose some customers in the process, but there's always buyers.

 

If they don't have the designs for the combiner parts they would still need to figure out how it was intended to combine using the existing figures and whatever preliminary work they have(sketches, mockups, ect) in order to work backwards to recreate the missing pieces and work them into a palatable product.

 

Oh so they had to reverse engineer the combining parts and the last member, that would definitely explain about 4% of the delay.

 

As much as I wish there were no delay, my ultimate preference is for them to take their time and nail it if opposed to shipping a shit show. They must have their reasons. IMO, it doesn’t really matter what those are as long as when the end of the delay is reached, FT deliver on what they promised.  

 

I don't buy it, at least as far as Bandit goes. There's no way FT didn't already have the designs for Bandit, given they've shown the renders for Bandit since like 2019. I could believe it about the skeleton though, given it was already needing rework/rethinking back then, and who knows maybe that's part of why the designer gave up and left. I highly doubt that FT doesn't have Bandit at least at the mold stage though. I'd be tempted to take the bet that dalianjj has a display case full of them by now, lol. Probably a warehouse full of them awaiting the skeletons to bundle with them.

So they give us the last two for Superion and they can't even finish Bandit. Weird, but that is par for the course for FT. I would laugh if Viper and Jester are not released for another 2 years. haha.

How do you let somebody "take the designs with them"? Was all this stuff not backed up and just sitting on one guy's computer somewhere?

It looks almost exactly the same as Superitron, I guess people who already have the Zeta's version wouldn't feel the need to buy the combiner parts for Ethereatron.

Im wondering the same thing. It doesn’t sound very realistic. Designs are key files, why didn’t have several backups of those files? And what just one guy had access to the designs?

 

I know this is a digibash but I am underwhelmed. I don't own zeta or any fans toys superion figures so I'm not biased, but if they both look the same I might as well get the cheaper zeta one.
