The extra chest fins are just easy to forget. But that's how the G1 chestplate was, mimicking some sort of flying vehicle, with the vertical fins, and so that's what the fold-out fins represent.

I don't have the contact info myself, but yes. You can contact MMC yourself and there more likely to help you in a timely manner than The Chosen Prime.

EDIT: Found this one in another thread that a person used to contact MMC - [email protected]

OH, I might try this sanding method now! I had the same issue but never got around to gluing in an extra piece to make it reach, this sounds much easier.

Sorry to ask this. I did try to read a million pages in this thread but I'm not finding the answer to my question.

How can you tell if your Incursus is an original release or a reissue? I think the original release has a window box and the reissues have a sealed box with different artwork. Is that correct? I bought an Incursus last year and the store said it was the reissue, but I suspect that I got an original release because the knee and hip joints are useless. But the Blastoff arm seems to work fine with the standard gun. Is it only the upgrade kit gun that it cannot hold up? Thank you!

I definitely have the re-issue nad never had the original. So I can't answer about the looseness.

What mode did your Incursus come in? Mine definitely hasn't have the window (I just looked at it), and it came in combined mode.

    Hope this helps!

I have the original and the hips are fine...
Original came in alt mode, long box with a window, later version came in bot mode with a closed box.
Upgraded shoulder came with probus, so they could have changed it out already.

it came in combined mode? Really? That’s very strange. Thank you for the info!

Thank you for the info. Yup I definitely bought the original. Alt mode packed in a window box. I bought it brand new from BBB earlier this year. I’m pretty shocked they still had stock of the original release. And it’s very odd that the shoulder works fine. Now I’m wondering if someone fixed the shoulder and then returned it or something similar. All my limb bots are reissues so I did not get the replacement shoulder ratchet part.

Now I’m thinking about buying a 2022 reissue and trying to sell my first release version. The hips and knees on mine do not hold the weight of brawl. Not even close. Not that I need to pose the combiner like that. But it’s also not very stable and I’m constantly worried about him falling over.

I might try to reach out to BBB. I’m pretty sure it was advertised as the reissue version and that’s the one I wanted. But I’m sure they won’t be willing to swap.

To clarify, by "combined mode", his Bruticus head and chest were out, and the legs were mostly positioned for Bruticus mode.I think you understood that, but just wanted to be clear Just In Case.

Now that I think about it... I think I heard the reissue came packaged in 2 possible ways for Incursus? But I really could be wrong on that. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Thinking about this more... Weren't the G1 colors already reissued once already and I think that particular Impetus didn't get the neck fix. MAYBE that's your issue? When did you purchase yours?

Here's a recent review of the G2 set queued up to combined mode so you can compare with what you have:

(seems the YouTube embedding isn't keeping the timestamp, so view it on YouTube and click on the "combined mode" to skip to the parts most relevant to you.

From the video, it seems the shoulders are in pretty good shape on this updated G2 set. The hips seem pretty solid too. The knees could be a bit tighter. Maybe someone can comment if they're improved over the original? Could be that the latest G1 reissue is even better, but I ordered mine back in April so I suspect it's not recent enough to expect any additional improvements.

My understanding is that the shoulder upgrades (that came with the original Probus) aren't great... They work, but they're cumbersome and/or difficult to install, and that there's no upgrades for the hips/knees.

I think the original was already reissued once, on the 2nd reissue the box was changed

Oh really? I thought both reissues had the same closed box. Interesting. Maybe I did get the first reissue after all. Doesn’t MMC put any sort of date stamp or anything on their figures or boxes? With TT MPs it’s very easy to tell which version it is from the date stamp. Thank you for the help!

I bought mine in March of this year. I’m becoming convinced that I got the first reissue that may have also been in truck mode with a window box. The shoulders on mine seem fine but the hips barely click when ratcheting them. There is no hard stop for each click. It’s very mushy. I assume the springs aren’t strong enough. Thank you for all the help!

Just for clarity, the first release of the G1 versions had two different kinds of packaging, except for Volatus. They were packaged in alt mode internationally, and in robot mode in China (again, except for Volatus who was always packaged in robot mode for all regions). Later releases would switch over to robot mode packaging for all of them.

I can't remember if the first reissue had the adjusted ratchets or not. I'm pretty sure the later versions did though.

hey @Peaugh , any chance you could do some photos with arrows pointing out what needs to be done (sanded?) to get the electronics to work please? My G2 Incursus arrived today with the same problem. Got a feeling it was common during production. Thanks in advance.

MMC? No. However, people working for MMC have commented that IF the G2 version sells good enough, they MIGHT do a Ruination/Baldigus version. "If" and "might" being the operative words here, words spoken not by the company itself but by people associated with the company.

So we don't really know and only time will tell if there's going to be another repaint and if so, what it will be.

It's basically just sanding the tops of these nubbins down a smidge. Just go slowly and test it by putting the head together and testing as you go, it doesn't take a whole lot. You can see a bit of the offending ridge on the back one in the pic (with the arrow).

Cool, I'll also open up the G1 version's head and use that as a reference guide too. Many thanks @Peaugh

just got G2 incursus and his left leg doesn't seem to slide in all the way when the button is held? it's strange because the right leg collapses in completely and without problems. any ideas what might be causing this?
