Great (and unexpected) news about Rumble!

The main question I have, do I really need a 3rd Siege Jetfire? I paid aftermarket prices for both of mine (1 for each bot mode) and that pricing is really really messing with my head right now!!!

Not complaining about BotBots coming early for me either, though I am slightly amused that when hasbro first announced them they said spring of next year, yet BBTS from the get go said "4th quarter 2022" which implied before spring. One of the few times their "estimates" were accurate.

Darn tootin'! I had to let MPG-02 slip for now, I am spending too much money on IRL. All the drops happening this week are very poorly timed for my beaten and battered wallet.

 

Mind you, I may have simply won the QC/Bad Batch lottery here, but if you’re on the fence and waiting for it to drop into your pot of loot, I cannot really recommend TFC Hades unless you absolutely NEED a Liokaiser. Yeah, he’s pretty, and he really is stable, but once he’s posed and in his detolf I’ll never touch him again except to dust. This thing damn nearly left me with PTSD and it’s the first time I’ve truly been relieved to be done messing with a bot. Hellbat and Guyhawk’s plastic is a joke, brittle and prone to stress mark at the lightest touch. Half the tabs on individual bots are too damn tight, the other half are loose to the point of simply being decorations. Even Emgo couldn’t make this an enjoyable experience. The good? This bot is gorgeous and will make an very nice addition to any DISPLAY. If you planned on getting one for the kids, just give them a bunch of single dollar bills and a box of matches. You’ll achieve the same outcome and just cut straight to the chase. A play toy this is not.

 

I wish to this date I never was on the fence on Combiner Wars Lio Kaiser. Perfect? Not a chance in hell, but it oozes charm in the way that I just enjoy and regret not getting it to this day

 

I think you got the Bad Batch lottery. I ordered Hades back during his first edition (when they were slowly being released individually) and I love it. Only issues are the minor connectors on the back of the torso are kinda weird-- they work, they're just kinda oddly placed-- and about a year after I first got it, one of Rhadamanthus' rear wings broke off. Well, and the Energon-style "force connectors" for the combiner, but they've got the upgrade kit now to fix that. Other than that great combiner.

 

Interesting you mention the first batch! I have an original batch (great deal from a board member, couldn’t pass it up) and I’ve never combined them but I’ve transformed each bot to vehicle and back and it’s night and day. They’re heavier/denser, they don’t stress mark it you look at them wrong, and I’ve thought they were great bots and was excited for this renewal version because of them. Maybe TFC has went cheap on the new plastic, maybe I got a bad batch, who knows.

 

I got it back in the day. Never took out of the box. Lol I was a completionist then so I bought everything. He's actually one of the few combiner box sets I still have. With victory Saber coming soon I'm glad I kept him. Especially with ebay prices hitting between $300 and $400. Funny I had him up 1x when they were hitting 375 for 300 shipped and no one bit. So I took him down. I think I'd have regretted selling him.
