Anyone has this problem yet? This clip inside his hammie got chewed up when i was clipping the tab into it. Now its not holding up anymore.

 

I have that issue with one of Reboost’s legs. Happened during my first transformation. It’s my least favorite part about the mold.

 

Maybe some super glue to " grow" the tab

 

Yeah i tried that and its holding up! But the satiafying 'click' isnt there anymore   its more of a 'squish' now ahaha

Awww man mine's also Reboost.. yeah i've only transformed it once and noticed on my second time. Hope this isn't a molding issue on other copies too

 

I got Crosscut a few months back, transformed it, and (thankfully) it didn’t happen. I haven’t transformed Skids yet, though. Can’t decide if it’s poor engineering, poor materials used for a connection point, or a combo of both.

 

Is there any way to avoid this damage or is it just luck of the draw?

 

Might be luck of the draw, but taking caution with the joint during transformation (especially in the case of Reboost) would be wise.

Does anyone know if the colorless headlights of Reboost and Crosscut are available for purchase? Or if anyone makes aftermarket versions? I like Skids, but those yellow headlights have got to go.

 

Wasn't it on sale for the same price a week ago or so, or since then? If n ot maybe it was another USA retailer. Wither way it seems like this figure is on clearance now.

You might have better luck finding similar headlight lenses on a cheap replica car at a similar scale at Walmart or the Dollar Store and cannibalize them from there. Might take a few stops/stores, but I think it is possible to find something.

The other option would be model shops that sell scratch-build components. Maybe something relating to model trains or Japanese Gundam models (there are a lot of companies that sell upgrade accessories for Bandai kits, specifically the mono-eye lenses for Zaku-type mobile suits; not sure if they would be clear though). Pop over to the “Let’s see your Gundams” thread on the Toyark forum and ask there.
