photos are from two separate posts. since the weathering and scarring is hand painted on these, it could be a case of YMMV for getting a copy with better or worse looking finish to it.

G2 Starscream's my most wanted Seeker redeco (G2 Ramjet's lonely), and I'd happily take EX versions of the remaining core 5 Seekers, Bitstream, the other two Rainmakers, Nacelle, and the cancelled pair of G2 Seekers (Sandstorm and Blackout). Along with SG Skywarp, throw in SG Dirge too.

I just got in the crazy colored thundercracker (captain shazaam) - cool piece, however, the 2 pieces on both sides of the cockpit that make up his chest were SUPER hard to flip out, and caused massive stress marks on the hinges, making me extremely concerned about transforming him back. What should I do? Is there a type of solution or hardener etc that is easy to use to fix this? They aren't completely broken off, but i fear one more flip back, and they will.

I dunno for sure, but it sounds like you grabbed the chest panel at the bottom and forced it outward instead of pushing the top of a chest panel inward in the correct direction so that it naturally folds out. It should not require any force. If you did it right already then apologies.

Yeah from how he shows it, he doesn’t show it well. It looks like he’s pulling outward at the bottom of the panel only. But the top of the panel where it sits near the cockpit needs to be pushed inward while you gently fold the lower part outward.

I remember trying to force it out the first time I got a seeker too, and it seemed impossible. But if you do it like I explained (or tried to explain) then it doesn’t require any effort or force.

With stress marks I know people have using hairdryers and hot/ near boiling water to get rid of stress marks but I’m not sure how easy it’s be with something that small and I don’t know what’s painted and what’s not. If you can get heat near it safely somehow it should work

How to solve Plastic Stress Marks?

Those last NA shots look significantly different from every single review copy we've seen so far. The black wash looks like actual grime instead of just smokers yellowing, and there is quite a bit more of the silver dry bush. Hopefully that is what they mostly look like, but it seems like way too much of a coincidence that their shots look significantly better than all reviewers.

I’m sure this has been answered before (apologies if so), but I tried doing my own research and got some conflicting pictures.
How big is this mold compared to the IF seekers? From what I gathered, they seem to be the same size head to head, but the NA shoulder vents are taller. Is that the case?

I still don’t have any version of this mold, so I was debating buying one of them; stuck between the SG or 1.5 versions. Kinda leaning towards SG, even though I’m already using the Hasbro one in my legends display as Jetfire. The 1.5 version has a nice gray, but I dislike the more cartoony big head.
Anyway, if someone can clarify the size differences for me, I’d appreciate it!

The intakes are indeed shorter, but the IF seekers are also a smidge (half a head looks like?) shorter than the NA ones.

Okay cool, thank you both. Good to know both molds are relatively the same size. I feel like you could mix and match them to get a variety of seekers that don’t all look completely identical.

Now the question is, does anyone wanna trade the cartoon head from the 1.5 version for the head on the original? ^^’ I want the 1.5 version bc it’s still available and I like the gray, but I prefer the original Lucifer head. Or the EX head, either or

Glad I bought the Battle Damaged Starscream. Glad because I was bored and tried to make the Space Bridge and found out I was one section short. Eleven sections are needed and I do have eleven NA jets but the red jet Icarus has the coronation gear instead of a stand. This new Starscream will be number 12 and now I'll have eleven stands to make the Space Bridge. It was also cheap at Showz for $55.99.

I thought about selling it and taking a loss. Since I need it and it was cheap I'm keeping it. Fascinating read for all of you I'm sure.
