OK kinda glad I was hesitant on all of these now, primarily as I really wasn't overall too familiar with the train bots in general, but with all of the QC and design issues I am seeing, I am thinking this line of bots is starting to look more and more like a hard pass.

I guess to folks like me who waited and others who had problems, we still got model trains to pass the time with.

I'm not sure what you're talking about? Nothing you're describing sounds like either of the Raiden figures that have been released.

None of these are QC issues. No one really understands what QC is these days

Besides Shouki's arm working its way out, there really hasnt been any QC issues. Even out of the handful breaks, the majority have been " I might had did something wrong or got something stuck on something.

That said surprised there's been no leaks of the Suiken promos, Im really starting to wonder if Takara got tired of certain vendors leaking them and they won't get anything till Takara goes live eith them.

The irony is that the post before yours was basically an user with a nightmare QC Radiatron.
And until now, no QC issues on Takara trains. Lol.

That post, by reading it's quotes, was nothing about Radiatron.

Yeah I got the wrong thread - it was diaclone.
The problems I had here were with shouki cracking, poor tolerance and rubbish paint. (I think I put pics up a while back before I returned it).
I was loitering in this thread in the hopes getsuei would turn out really excellent, but it looks like it has similar problems re too much clear plastic on tabs and joints for my liking and the breaks happening on the slider joint.

Ami Ami have offered me a replacement! They'll always have my money, AJP has a terrible, just awful return system.

I'm assuming the AJP branch. Maybe it's a language issue? I got my Amazon USA ordered box crunched Blaster return with no incident.

Glad you can get a replacement! I want to see if I can try to reinforce the piece with a small metal sheet and some epoxy - hopefully that can prevent accidental breakage?

i once had a problem with MP44. AJP not only paid for sending it back (but only through UPS), shipping costs were actually higher than the cost of MP44 at that time!

Did that once, but the time after I chose my own shipping method, which was only about 35 euro. I got that refunded in the form of a gift card. I love AJP.

Really? Other than actually going the the postal office and paying out of pocket (but getting refunded) what is so bad about it?

I mean, they can't just print a label and have you drop it off. Customs are involved so it is a bit of work, but nothing horrible.

How is Amiami better at returns?

Amiami was also the one that told somebody, well you tried to transform it so the breakage you found was on you. They relented with the " well this one time, we'll make an exception...."

so got it into leg mode and using the fan mode for the leg (folding up the wheels and keeping the side panels fully extended) knee bed can do the full 90* and the panels sense they rest against the folded wheels do not risk breaking

still wondering how kaen will connect

did try to fudge getsuei on to the raiden shoulder and yeah hoping the arm bots have less rotational weight. i was able to et it to hold but a slight bump did send the joint down.

My Getsuei arrived today. First leg cracked on the rotation. I thought people were breaking them on pulling the sliding peg out? Do you think there is anyway to fix it without returning?
