Yeah this paint rubbing is getting bad. Had it on my Titan Metroplex and was none too happy considering the asking price. Returned it and got a second copy with the same issue though not as egregious.

 

Will they do a Decepticons pack too?

 

Unlikely since 07 Megatron is getting a reissue.

 

It was rumored as having a high possibility of happening, but as mentioned the reissue seems to indicate otherwise at least for now.

No. Both ‘07 Megatron and BB Optimus Prime are getting reissues through online retailers, likely fan channel and Pulse

 

Damn, sorry to head about all those with issues, guess I got lucky for the most part. Bought two sets, 1 for me and another for my brother. We missed out on alot of the SS figures as I just wasn't really interested in a lot of them. Out of box Ironhide, Jazz, and Prime have no Issues or any noticable yellowing. Ratchet's roof rack was warped, so I unscrewed it and some hot water fixed it. My Bumblebee is a POS, as I figured it would be. I have the DOTM bee and the Clunker bee from the Bee and Barry two pack so I did not car about this one, he looks very plain, and hardly any paint in bot mode, joints are floppy as hell, and his ankles had so much flashing in the slots they could not peg in. Bee is staying in alt mode for good. His head is the best sculpt and paint On any of the Bees I own so I did a Head swap with my DOTM bee to give him the autobot crest on his head. Besides bee I have enjoyed all of them and they look great together, and I think it is worth the price. I have already painted Prime's lower legs as well.

Prime is getting another DOTM reissue as well so its still possible, I hope.

 

At least now you can paint the eye they didn’t paint.

 

The door hinge on my bumblebee broke out of the packaging now I have to return it.... Shame because the others are pretty good especially jazz ironhide and ratchet.

 

Honestly I wouldn't even bother. The bumblebee is such a pos from mold degredation that mine wont stay together and every joint wants to fall off, the tabs in vehicle don't hold together, and half of the tabs for robot mode are full of flashing and won't stay. The copy my brother got the door wings are molded improperly to where it can't transform. You will probably end up with one just as bad, Just get the DOTM bee thats out in stores and do a head swap, thats what I did and it has literally way more paint than this one.

 

Painted Ironhides missing eye, I think I got the color matching pretty close to where you can't tell without looking up close. Looks better than the original SS Ironhide to me.

 

Mine came the same way, with no other packagings material in side, really dumb decision.

 

I’m glad that canceled my preorder on time. After the hype, and remembering the Hasbro’s cheap hollow plastic syndrome, I realized these quality issues are going to happen.

It is Hasbro after all, we all need to understand their CHPS reality.

Actually all but Bumblebee are quite nice. Tight joints, nice paint, qnd look great. Very fun to flip back n forth. I already have 2 other bumblebee molds so I didnt really care about him anyways, but he is the only one with issue in both of the sets I got

That brown box that says "SIOC" is how it was supposed to be shipped. The additional Amazon box is either the result of an Amazon worker not understanding what "SIOC" means, or the item being flagged in the system as non-SIOC for whatever reason.

 

Man, I'm really back and forth with this set. I want it, but then I think I'm good enough with the MPMs. But then i think about how I don't have the room to display them and stuff.
Oh well, might end up as an impulse purchase on my next paycheck.
