I'm curious about how WFC Optimus will turn out. In theory, the Deluxe's engineering would work way better at Voyager size. It might just suck if it's a downgrade from the Deluxe, though. I liked how you could essentially give him blade arms by retracting the fists into the forearm and sliding in a 5mm sword. The WFC Megs could be a good repurpose as The Fallen.

 

The original felt like a Gundam model kit. They can't help but upgrade him.

 

I think he’ll turn out fine.

 

Megatron. Yeah, I know they won't do the gun, but there's more to accuracy than the alt mode. Seriously, they need a movie accurate Megatron figure that can turn into something else. I've always said an anti air placement makes the most sense since he becomes a cannon as Galvatron.

 

I feel like it’ll just be it’s own thing but of the two HM designs, FOC is the only to take ques from for his alt mode cause that’s more truck like.


Will be curious to see how or fix they do the alt mode combined still with the Earth parts. The grill area would be the most changed.

 

Is an Optimus the only one who hasn't gotten a cybertronian mode for the Bumblebee movie I mean even characters that showed up for a few seconds even got a toy with a vehicle mode we never saw

 

YUP. An 86 Megatron that turns in to something other than a tank would go a long way to helping them not have to waste engineering budget on hiding tank treads in bot mode.

EDIT: To go a step further, turn Megatron in to an AAG with a seat that can hold a Core class figure.



That way you still kinda reference mass shifting (just he gets bigger instead of smaller) and now your Core figures can be the ones who aim and fire much like in the old G1 days when they'd hold and fire Megatron in gun mode.

Your only getting 1 bayformer because the rest of the movie figures are Rise of The Beasts. Unless of course you’d rather have no ROTB figures come out the same year as the movie?


Phrasing it like that makes it sound like your only concern is getting more Bay movie figures. Which while is an understandable desire..

My brother in christ, there have been almost 100 Studio Series releases, and most of them bay designs. Complaining about G1 getting an abundance of figures is like a pot calling a kettle black.

 

For now, there is more than that coming I'm sure either in Deluxe's or especially in Core Class.

Honestly in my head I see bayverse and knightverse figures in the same category, so I'm not upset with the lack of bayformers. Just a little tired of the g1 stuff, but not enough to be upset

 

I'm winning regardless overall so I'm okay with it lol. I was fine with SS86 (mainly cause I barely buy SS stuff even though I grew up with the movies) but WFC is technically taking its place this year I am okay with.

I don't think so, there's a chance we may get hom since I think we only have 9 deluxes lined up, with people saying we should have two more, but I wouldn't count to heavily on it. I could see it coming out after the rotb hype dies
