With Toys R Us gouging their prices (as in $10 or more above MSRP), it's cheaper with the buy it in the USA even with exchange rate. If you're in a spot where you can cross the border, get Red Cog that way.

I am going to buy this to represent the statue used at the end of the Netflix trilogy.
I'll use a Refraktor to represent the other statue.
I'll use the Core class versions of the characters to represent the surviving combatants.
Then I'll have them walk away from each other as they realize their entire conflict was absolutely pointless; just like the Netflix show.

Good to know that the Toys R Us that remain are still overcharging.

I love the weapons pack addition here. The added options for other figures w/o going 3P is really nice. My T30 Springer appreciates the additional firepower :)  I hope Hasbro does more mass-releases like this. I was fortunate to get the Centurion drone and his accessory pack and hate that many missed out. There is an interest in and market for accessories, Hasbro!

What do you mean "still"? It hasn't even been a full year since they started to gouge prices. I first noticed it in February with SW Black Series figures.

And it's not costs, "because pandemic" bullshit, or an MSRP hike. Everywhere else has standard MSRP for figures. It's just plain old corporate avarice.

It is overpriced, agreed. However, if you take the $32 (rounded) price and then remove $25 (also rounded) for a deluxe figure, you’re left with $7 for the accessories. Let’s round that to $10, for argument’s sake. For four blasters (or three blasters and a connector piece that may be used as a blaster), four barrels, and a two-part bomb, that’s still extremely cheaper than 3D-printed weapons from individual and even small business suppliers. Toyhax’s weapons are great, but also $8.00 US each for the larger size (which is what you likely want). NONNEF’s are somewhat less expensive, but the point is still valid: $10 for 10 high-quality pieces isn’t as much as you might think.

I used the word "still" because Toys R Us always marked up their toys before they shut down in the US.
It was my experience that they were the last to get stock and they were always more expensive than everywhere else.

I only went there if they had a sale or had TRU exclusives.

TRU here was, as noted, fairly reasonable until... February or so? Then they went NUTS, bumping SW and Classified up about $15 from prior retail across the board. I think TF was a bit more immune, but they've trended up over the year as well.

Of course, the last time I went (I broke down and bought Tiger Force Outback), the entire TF section was basically Buzzworthy Cybertron Bumblebee and Terrorsaur. I figure those are going to go on deep, deep discount either in early December or post-Christmas.
