Why would you show a figure that is releasing with a set of figures over a year later earlier than the other figures that are reading with it. It’s like the quickest way to cause confusion.

“Wait what do you mean Breakdown isn’t getting released for a year? It was shown at PulseCon?”

“I thought Breakdown was announced a year and a half ago why is it getting shown off again?”

Speaking of you Aussies, you guys are getting proper screwed not just on availability, but price (at least when it comes to Marvel Legends).

$68 AUD for a "delux" Spider-Man???? Holy sht!!

    Absolute pain.

I have Wildrider, but he's staying boxed up for now, so I can't (or won't) confirm either =/.

Well, likely some are, these are kids toys and parents might not want or care to go all in on a set. But, yeah, can’t imagine that’s the norm for most especially since this is the collector oriented line.

That's not even Breakdown. No red on the hood. Isn't that Clampdown?

Sure, and for the parents and kids, it’s even more important as they don’t know anything about it.

part of showing every part of the product working fully together is to inform and educate possible consumers. We as collectors might know who these characters are and what they do, but parents often have no idea - and with no tie in media it makes it even more important that the package fully show off the full intended functionality.

I don't buy Marvel Legends but I barely see them moving at stores, and suspect you've hit the reason on the head

I’m all in in this “wait, what?” camp but I don’t think it’s false advertising. More like jerking around our expectations.

Sibling 1 gets an A on their report card. Dad and kid go for donuts. Sibling 2, same thing and so on through sibling 4. Little brother sibling 5 gets an A and… a pat on the head. Sorry son, budgets.

I was actually going to say the same thing, they literally put Lamborghini Clampdown on the Motormaster box to advertise an accurate Breakdown, fully knowing that Breakdown was going to be the exact same mold as Wildrider. This actually becomes even more shady the longer I look into it.

    They were just showing Clampdown.

    It's not a conspiracy.

    "... But ... " nothing. It's not a conspiracy.

What a fuggazi this is. While the robot mode looks good, the vehicle mode is unacceptable. Wtf Hasbro, u guys didn\'t even try, all u guys had to do was a slight remold of the front of the car to look like a lambo, and that would be the easiest half assed remold ever.

hasbro needs to smarten up, if their marvel legends ghostrider haslab is any indication. People aren\'t willing to be ripped off on a continuous basis. If we are paying more we expect more. Now I wonder what price the next transformers haslab will be. A commander class at 350 what a joke

What disappoints me the most in TF fans (other than the price hike indifference) is this acceptance that an additional 3P kit is not only necessary, but an assumed additional cost.

When I buy a Breakdown for $25, I expect the purchase to be finished... not the first half of correcting a horrible business decision to shave a nickel so that some Hasbro exec can keep driving luxury cars and buy another yacht.

These discount design choices should discount the product price, not disservice the consumers that diligently bought the other 4 toys with the expectation that the Motormaster box art would deliver on its promise.

This is a lot of emotion over a toy half of us are going to stick on Menasor's calf and be done with it.

    Hold up... Clampdown?

So Hasbro puts up a MISLEADING image of a different Lambo because... that's honesty?

Bait and switch? :lol  ("Technically, they never wrote you could buy THAT TV! Just cuz it's in the ad, doesn't mean that...") :lol

Honestly, people will be burned here without recourse. They have to finish the combiner. But I'm thinking a lot of customers think twice before committing to the next combiner. I know I will. :sly:  Ooof, this is CW double-dipping all over again, when this Menasor was supposed to apologize for the CW debacle of a Stunticon combiner!

Unfortunately moving Legacy wave 4 to Evolution means an increased new part count
    Please understand the budget

I'm hoping that the BTS for this figure explains their decision-making process. Kind of looking forward to hearing why it turned out how it did, especially in a line that, up until now, was touted as screen accurate.

"Budget" is not a good defense when trying to explain why a figure was poorly made. It's more of a bad excuse.

For all the chuggoids who don't know what true patience looks like, The Fanstoys Stunticons were announced when I started my freshman year of high school...

I am now in my freshman year of college and there has still been no movement on Deadend.
