Shouki seems to be the only bot people had problems with. As long as you watch a transformation video for him and for the overall combining (there are lots of things the instructions don't tell you which solidifies it all), you will be fine

If anyone wants one of The Madness' Kup heads, I've printed a few off already. They just need priming and painting right now. Give me a shout. :)

Me cheap HMATMOTU stuff arrived from IDT today. Beast-Man and Battle Cat are absolutely two of the best in the range - although, as with everything else in the range, they're somewhat lacking in deco. Orko is stuck to his cloud and has hardly any real articulation, which is a shame, and the two larger figures are great, but, once again, really lacking in deco.

One thing that the lack of moving parts means is that painting them will be easier as I won't have to worry about paint damage around the joints.

Finding decent reference pics for these versions of the characters is annoyingly tough, though. I can't seem to get any decent pics of Man-E-Faces at all :S

BTW, heard back from my friend after her visit to A&E and was frankly disgusted at the lack of treatment of concern she received - they sent her home with some fucking leaflets!!
The thing is, though, that even if she's been given what passes for help in the NHS it would have either meant an 18 month+ wait OR something deeply ineffectual and/or basically useless as that's all that's on offer these days - assuming your local health authority can even offer THAT.

People like us fall between the cracks as no-one can be arsed to deal with us because we can't be simply helped with a box-ticking exercise and what passes for therapy is useless since we already know damn well what's wrong with us and why.

Paid up Armadascream and Hollywood Star Skullgrin at IDT! Due in the next 5-7 days apparently. Every wave ever arriving simultaneously forever! Next year: All of Evolutions in one week!

Oh well, should be fun. Replies to follow Thrediati! Busy packing to exit this tiny frozen town!

Edit: oh great, this was my post #5000? Didn't even notice until the site gave me a trophy. Bawww! I wanted to do a proper Significant Post with lots of photos! Oh well. Any way the wind blows... :lol ;)

In defence of the NHS, it is royally stretched to breaking point, badly mismanaged by higher-ups who say: "Ooh, me, I can run that service! Yes I can" and of course painfully under-funded. I worked for NHS Mental Health 18 years ago and we were feeling the weight of cuts, deficits and debts back then.

A&E staff SHOULD be better, front-line service SHOULD be better, but I'm still immensely proud that we offer a no-cost service and if you present with any kind of illness or injury, no-one is asking for your credit card before they look at you.

TOYS: Those HE&MOTU look great. The show is awesome and the toys really capture the aesthetic of the show.

Yeah this guy feels a lot better to me than Shouki. Once you get your head around the legs it's plain sailing from there. Feels great

Well a good day started with a very promptly arriving Dinoking. So top marks for FedEx, this thing arrived fast!

    Initial thoughts…

He looks fantastic, great paint (only a few overspray issues) really nice colours and bold as hell

The ratchets, such delightfully clicky ratchets at the arms

    Look at that headsculpt!!

No instructions… Yep, nope, just the figure clamshelled in a box made out of basically tissue paper. BBTS shipped it well, but the box itself makes the legacy packaging feel premium

The legs don’t errr combine, I am pretty sure they will fit in just fine if I had errrr instructions but in the box they are just loosely in place

Loose bits of plastic… I don’t know what this part in my palm is from because…. there’s no instructions or pictures besides a black and white rendering.

Nope, it's per order. So if you throw everything on the one order, it all waits. If you order everything on separate orders, but at the same time, and pay for individual shipping, it'll all go out as and when it comes in. So you should be fine putting the 5 pack preorder in.

Man. Today is just a heavy day. Like... really struggling to stay uplifting and positive. Or motivated. Anyone got any good jokes? Or some dad jokes that @Siege Fan likes to post?

I believe he's a 1:1 KO of the FE mould. I can't really say for sure as I've never owned one before but he isn't much bigger than the standard voyager BH - he's about the same size.
