Curious why they made the Slicer toy a Decepticon if he is an Autobot here. Maybe he will dimensionjump to the regular universe?

Y'mean, they would finally make that Metrotitan people wanted, then give him an SG insignia? Hasbro is not that dumb, they know the fans.
The HasbroPulse description says the character to be revealed would be a "pretty rad dude". To me, that is definitely going to be Soundwave. Probably a repaint of the Earthrise toy.

Why not? SG is bound to run for some more issues. And Hasbro can continue the line even after IDW's end.

 

I feel like they dropped the ball on Slicer’s identity.

My take is that evil Autobot Wheeljack changed his name to Slicer then went on to become the evil Decepticon Slicer in the positive universe.

 

Eh I think they would give you a sticker option or a flip around insignia like comander jetfire

 

Just read the issue. Loving the art. I really liking the characterization of Slicer, he almost seems like a undercover spy for the Decepticons. But I really like his cloaked look.

They showed him in blasters "I couldn't be a failure or I wouldn't be here " flash back and even prior to that eject was purple. ALL 4 of his boys got the you know what happens to failures treatment along with blaster
