Articulated fingers, nice. Now have good quality and I’ll buy it right up.

 

If someone made a figure that looked like this and transformed, I'd buy it in a second, with no transformation, I have no interest.

 

I’m pretty sure @NOCV mentioned this was 2017ct’s second attempt with much better build quality and diecast

Just the new head sculpt makes this a win for me.

 

Looks great but I bought the first one and they left me hanging on Megatron so I don't think I'll be buying anything else from them. They could've kept the same scale and just upped their quality and it would've worked out for people who bought the original as well as the new but they decided to change to a different scale (at least I'm pretty sure I remember this one being bigger - I just don't care enough to go check right now) so I'm out.

Couple questions. What does dlx style mean? Is it a different size than the original? Are we using this thread or moving to the other one? The fibers are different and so is the sculpting apparently? I'm not familiar with the original so what's the difference between this one and that

 

The first release was terrible plastic quality and light as a feather with parts easily coming off or breaking. It is about 9” tall

deluxe is bigger and better I suspect. This one is noticeably larger should have much better quality parts with diecast included

 

Last one went for like $150 right? Any hopes that this won't be that much more expensive?

 

It's probably gonna cost more. It's bigger and has more quality materials put into it. But probably not too much more expensive.
The cheapest DLX Prime is the Siege Prime, and that costs like $180.
Most expensive so far is ROTF DLX Prime, costing $230.

 

DLX siege prime was a weird concept to me. I'd understand why this would cost a lot but I'm hoping they save some r&d by upscaling some of their older parts, otherwise, I might personally pass.

 

Yeah Siege Prime may not be ideal for most, but for he's an awesome figure. I don't even mind the kibble.



And I'm not quite sure why it'd cost less to make the figure again, but better. I'm not even too sure how the process goes but surely it isn't as simple as just recycling assets and making them bigger.
