Only stuff thats super pricey still is old stuff that hasn't been reissued yet it seems.

Ages3andup and similar vendors are selling for $245, and it's hard to justify going with them at that price (since there is shipping and tax on top of that). I used to go to Kooltoyz all the time but now it's only if things are out of stock.

Just cancelled mine. Pulled out Artifex in order to get him ready for sale, then realised how much more I like him than Hitch. There are some things about Hitch I prefer, but far more about Artifex.

 

I'm waiting for him to go on sale because i'm tired of getting burned by things getting discounted shortly after release or a few months later. If I miss it then i'll just wait for Masterpiece Hoist.

 

Who has received an email from Bombusbee to pay their balance for this guy? I've seen a few people mention they've gotten the email, but I've looked through all my folders and it doesn't look like I've gotten anything yet.

I wouldn't wait. The attractive discounts we've seen with Deformation Space and Transform Elements, brands that were already attractively priced before they later become discounted even further, typically doesn't happen to FT products, at least not to that level. What we do know based on history is that if you do miss out on a first run of a FT item, the reissues typically costs more. I'd say get it now while the getting is good. FT is the only brand I don't put off getting.

It just comes up as coming from "sales", but it does say bombusbee in the payment link, so search for that. Mine did go to junk initially, fwiw.

 

I decided not to bother waiting. I remembered I had almost $17 in discounts at BBB plus their $4 autumn sale discount so it ended up being $126 and change. Not bad.

 

Once you you've owned it and later decide you don't like it, you can always sell it, especially once it dries up and becomes very hard to find anymore.
