Since the text is not in blue, you are serious? I didn't have any issues securing them years before. Except for Atariscream (all sold out.).

 

He's giving the set to me rosanna set to me for free when he decided to move on from Transformers around the middle portion Kingdom was out, along with a few other toys (what i can recall from memory was G2 purple megs, encore Twincast but there's more) but his marriage + a few personal issues + procrastination/ laziness+ moving to another house (iirc) has pushed that "uh yeah im shipping it for free to you a few months later" to soon (TM). He just found the radio drama CD that comes with the set a few months ago in storage.

 

That's kind of okay I guess. I thought like maybe there's some big issue (unlike the so called imaginary performative outrage types recently mentioned) in Asia shipping them.

 

Shouldn't have a rights problem, Deluxe Insecticons and Deluxe Autobots were imported from the same company during G1, and Roadbuster and Whirl got new figures that weren't retools.

I'd imagine we could see Venom as a more extensive remold of one of the other Insecticons - we seem to be getting the same trio FansProject did years ago, but Venom shares a lot of parts placement between modes with Shrapnel and Bombshell - if the primary torso piece was on it's own mold, swapping it out with a rotating waist section could move the wings out of the way in robot mode

 

Mark is just fucking awesome!!! They did Chop Shop from Shrapnel before so this should be easy for him. I’d still love a set of the new ones in red as well.

 

I doubt that they would do it even with the rights. They have almost no other options for retools or repaints for the insecticons.

 

I don’t see Venom getting a brand new mold. I do see him being a more extensive retool of one of the others.

Or… how about sharing a (re)mold with Beet Papil / G1ified Glowstrike??
