hmm..wonder if I should hold out to see if TF Source puts him on sale...I've got a 40$ store credit that's burning a hole in my pocket, and for once I'd like to not have to wait three weeks to get a figure.

looking like a great figure and I have contemplated buying it but those those chrome legs look so out of place , I just don’t get fanstoys sometimes they have a great sculpt and then go screw it on the deco

The chrome is part of what I like about it. I just think the arms and legs should be finished similarly, be it in chrome or silver. The mix of the two looks a bit odd.

I agree that FT is inconsistent, but most of the time it’s the sculpt that I don’t like about their figures.

Just paid up with BBB. Had 6 dollars in points to use and ended up paying a total of 141.00 (15.00 PO + 126.00 fulfillment)
    Not too bad imo.

BBB seems get their FT stock later than some other retailers though. I just got Aussie last week from them.

You’re lucky, my BBB payment didn’t process properly. PayPal transaction exists, but the BBB site is telling me I still need to pay.
Messaged them the transaction details immediately but no response so far.
First issue I’ve ever had with them though, I’m sure they’ll sort it out quickly.

This will go on sale. There are lots of other options for this character, some of which are quite popular (or subjectively better), and it's a pretty expensive swap out if one already has the character represented.

This was the case with Spindrift 2.0, Tesla 2.0, Rig, Outrider... The only recent one I didn't see go on sale for long (at ShowZ) was Hannibal.

The outlier to this pattern is Chomp, who has no other options available, but who is mysteriously still on sale at multiple retailers.

So did Lupus & Dracula. The market for headmasters is just much much smaller than S1-2

FT is stuck in 2014 with their models. Chrome, gold, metallic...

I appreciate the new head with separate field generator, but it does look like the generator needs to be (temporarily) removed to fully transform the figure (rotate the head). Or can you keep the head facing upwards in alt mode? It's not particularly well hidden anyway...

$135 shipped after points/voucher from BBB, happy with that. "Happy", and glad it's one step closer to being finished.

My problem is that I really liked Hoist when I was a kid (I never had the Trailbreaker toy) and I would like a good MP/3P figure of him, but I don’t want to pay Fanstoys prices for it. The MMC toy that I have is fine but not quite my idea of the character, and while I think BC and XTB did a nice job with their Trailbreakers, I don’t like their efforts with Hoist.

I selfishly kind of want Hitch to flop with collectors because I like it and want the price to come down.

It’s OK to wait. Fanstoys FOMO is over.

I don't necessarily think this is true. I think they're in a (intentional, experimental, fact-finding) rut of non-popular characters. Let's see how that theory works when Jazz and Mirage come around, or Blitzwing or Dead End or even Cliffjumper. Bots like Pipes and Gears and Swerve will be easy to get, sure, but I'm not convinced they all will be. It also matters how popular other options of those characters are, if they exist at all.

I don't think Gears will be easy to get. The BC Gears went for ridiculous prices. But maybe that's changed since they reissued it.

I really want FT Gears so I'm hoping this trend of FOMO is really gone. I cancelled my Hoist PO because while I would like to get the FT version, I don't really want it enough to buy it right now.

I agree with this assessment. I’m just not sure where Hitch is going to fall on the spectrum, but I’m selfishly hoping it’s less popular.

The only other FT figure on the horizon in which I have much interest is Parkour, and I expect I’m going to be forced to PO and pay full price for it. Cliffjumper was my first TF ever back in ‘84 and the TT version looks terrible, so I feel I’m likely going with Fanstoys for that character (too bad it won’t be offered in yellow like my original!).

Just paid my balance at bbb!

124 pounds sterling all in. £1.50 more than Outrider. £2.50 less than Tesla 2.0.

Hitch is more than I paid for Goose and Iceman and only a shade cheaper than Maverick.

    I pretty pleased with that.

most I’ve paid for a minibot was Rig at £85 total so I’m guessing Jive and Phantasm will be somewhere in the middle.
