Perhaps I'm over-reacting and jumping the gun after all team. For what its worth, I live in the same timezone or very close to China. Was just really looking forward to getting a perfect copy of this guy in his G2 colours. Will allow time and due process to carry on and hope others faith in Bombusbee's customer service will become apparent here. End of rant/hissy fit.

Hey, we all need to vent it out sometimes. That's totally understandable.

Thanks @The Happenin Rhinoceros . But my impatience and venting should've been restrained - at least until (as others have wisely stated) I'd given @Bombusbee a reasonable opportunity to respond. Since my last post they've reached out and surpassed all my expectations in customer service. I wish to take this opportunity to publicly apologise to @Bombusbee for my poor behaviour and thank them for everything they've done/are doing to redress the situation. regards, MJC

Really glad to hear that they've come through for you.

And very cool of you to acknowledge your mistake and address it by apologizing to them. Too many people on these boards double down on being stupid when they get called out on something.

    Very mature reaction.

And now get ready to be amazed and to enjoy your G2 goodness! That's in any case, the outcome we want for you :D .

Thanks brothers @The Happenin Rhinoceros and @Rquiem . It will be some time before I get my requested copy of MISP G2 Incursus - but thats okay. I fully trust and believe in @Bombusbee. For anyone here that has the yellow & purple G2 version - have there been reports of the rigid & locked robot mode head? If so, is there a workaround? or a recall by MMC? or a mail out of replacement head?

One improvement that was VERY obvious with G2 version was the strength of the hip joints compared to his G1 brother. And I replaced all the springs as per instructions by a previous recommendation with far stronger stainless steel springs. Maybe there's some internal retooling thats strengthened the joints we don't know about?

Don't get me wrong, my G1 Incursus is rock-solid with the new springs (I have 2 copies of each G1 figure - nutcase that I am). But G2 version is better still.

Still holding out for a Car Robots Baldigus colour scheme MMC. It would go perfectly with Fans Hobby Arch Enemy

For anyone who has the upgrade kit or G2 version, do you find this joint in the feet to be scary to fold out? I feel like I'm going to crack off those little posts I've circled in red. It feels like the edges I've highlighted in yellow don't have quite enough clearance during the rotation. I'm just wondering I just got bad luck on the tolerances or if there's a trick to it.

I really enjoy transforming this set back and forth but I've basically left these parts in foot mode now and don't use them as the bed/ramp.

It's "finicky" in that it definitely prefers one part of the joint to be moved before the other one. Just kind of "fiddle with it until it moves without a ton of stress". Sorry there's not really a better way to describe it, but don't "just keep forcing it" when you get notable resistance----kind of "back off" and try moving it again at a different pivot point.

I actually mentioned in my latest tip video about transforming probus and fraudo how it's important to be mindful of the particular degrees at which those hinges have clearance.

They're double hinged for a reason, and you can avoid stressing them if you keep that in mind. Provided you aren't forcing them at the wrong angle, I think they'll be just fine.

Like David said you'll know when it's ok because there won't be a noticable resistance to the motion, it'll just hinge cleanly.

Thanks. I came into this set a bit late compared to many so it's hard sometimes to know if you just got a rough draw or whatnot, even after checking out a few vids. Although I guess if the worst did happen, there's enough other anchors to keep the thing together even if one of those tabs failed.

Yeah, i got the G1 version and already had a few breakages on those. They sent me some new ones that actually are a bit loose, which i normally would think of as a bad thing but now it helps not breaking them.
Once everything is in place its solid enough though

I emailed BBTS to inquire about G2 Onslaught and they said MMC hasn't sent over any information to them. Neat. Can't wait to finish this set.

I've come to the conclusion that once things arrive from the already slow boat method, BBTS ships from the port to their warehouse via wagon train.

I finally got in the right batteries for Onslaught but can't seem to get it to light up. I can't seem to find a picture of how they are supposed to be oriented in there so I don't know if mine's defective or if I'm just not putting them in correctly.

@Girl Pants , are the batteries brand new? The light up feature will work but only if the batteries are orientated one way.

I received my first G2 'bot from the stellar team at Bombusbee yesterday - Fraudo. Man the red is vibrant on this guy!

Yeah, they're fresh, it took me a while to track them down. I even tried a few different ones from the pack in there. Guess I just got a bit of bad luck (maybe it's to balance out getting G2 Onslaught a lot earlier than many folks lol).

Update: I disassembled the head to see if I could see any obvious flaws and the electronics actually work... they're just not getting triggered properly when assembled... hmmm. I'll report back if I get it working.

It is the trigger or the contacts? Bending the contacts a bit so they exert more pressure on the batteries may help, I think I may have done so on my copy.
