I won't charge anything that takes me about a day or two to design.

I'd pay a reasonable price for such a thing. Just saying since your initial work is at the top of my list of must have upgrades.

I'll think about it once I finish my current plans.

Put the shoulder parts on mine.
Now I have articulated shoulders and SIGHT BEYOND SIGHT. 20220906_211215.jpg
Some other shoulder positions that look cool. 20220906_211555.jpg 20220906_211434.jpg 20220906_211444.jpg 20220906_211411.jpg

I swapped out the shoulder joints I had from someone else for these V3 ones - these are much, much better. The engineering of the sliding section is ingenious.

Heads up, I did have to make the included spacer ring a few layers thicker, and make extra .4mm spacer rings for where the joint attaches to the figure (to pinch the swivel joint shut more), otherwise everything was pretty loose. The slot that the shoulder slides in needed major filing as well, it was impossible to slide the part over those bumps that separate the two positions without nearly removing them entirely.

If you revise further I would eliminate one or both of those bumps completely, friction holds the post in place just fine without them.

Anyone interested in printing me a shoulder set? I have no access to a 3d printer. I would pay of course.

Might I suggest something like Treatstock or Craftcloud?

I'll consider those in the next revision, whenever I get around to doing that.

This is a game changer for this mold! Thanks!

any ingenious was to make the arm less stuck to the torso (like he’s hiding sweaty pits) without it being untabbed?

I can't do anything about pinned parts, so something like that would require some new arm parts. That'll take some time to figure out, maybe when I get around to doing designs again.

Wow these look great! An absolute godsend for the figure.
I'm not familiar with the engineering, but have you considered making a piece fitting over the shoulder joint itself to make him less noodle-armed?

Not a fan of add-on parts that can't be left on during transformation, so it's unlikely at the moment that I'll do something like that.

Printed the knee bits and shoulder joints for my Scourge I just picked up. Knees xame out great! Excellent design and they fit on so seamlessly its like this is how they should have been from the beginning. Havent put together the arm joints though. The circle pegs got a bit rough so i may need a second shot at those.

This is a good kit honestly! But it also has made me realize that I like the default shoulders. Still I highly recommend this to anyone it’s pretty good quality, just needs sanding

Would nylon be the best printing option? For durability since they're joints?

The tougher the material the better. Due to some of the parts being really small, you'll need all the durability you can get. BTW, when I mean fragile, it doesn't doesn't mean it'll break though, it just means that the moving parts will wear down faster and you'll end up with floppy shoulders.

Groovy. Now I just have to figure out a print service that can do the job.

apologies for the necro, but I have a few questions for anyone who did install this kit:
    - what size screwdriver did you use to get the screws out of prime/scourge's shoulders?
    - what material would be best to have these printed in? i'm looking to get these done through treatstock's services and trying to decide between nylon & abs

Small thin screwdrivers would work, like those in electronic repair kits. PLA+ or ABS would work, since you need the material to be as tough as possible to compensate for the tiny parts.
