    It was the Furman IDW comics that brought me back to the TF fold in my late 20s... I'm mid 40s now. I'll miss their solicits! :D 

    I'm sure I'll keep an eye on whoever the new publisher is. Hasbro seem really keen on a clean break given they haven't even officially announced the new partner yet.

    ...could they bring it in-house?

    Looks that way, I just hope a deal can be struck so *somebody* can print the last few Phase Three volumes (I make it four more after v3) in the same design except for a different publisher logo.

    I suspect Hasbro dropped the ball with Slicer.

    Originally he was separate to Wheeljack. Then SG Wheeljack happens to have G1 Slicer’s colors. Now SG Slicer is an evil Autobot in G1 Slicer’s colors and the toy marks him as a heroic Decepticon. THEN the Magic: The Gathering card shows G1 evil Decepticon Slicer in Armada Wheeljack’s colors.

    So they intentionally made the whole Slicer / SG Wheeljack deal needlessly convoluted and complicated.

    I hope the comic will clear things up but I suspect the ball will remain dropped. Or the dropped ball is going to dig itself a deeper hole.

    The simplest solution is that SG Wheeljack changed his name to Slicer, went undercover as a SG Decepticon then went to the positive universe and became an evil Decepticon and finally changed his color scheme after that. Which isn’t actually that simple but does clean everything up neatly.

    But they won’t do that here.

    Slicer is my favorite SG character so when he starts monologuing, I get worried....

    I think that Wheeljack, being the cautious bot he is, always had his name as slicer, so if he ever needed to, he could fall back on his original name, wheeljack. I say this becuase ultr mangus and Rachet call him slicer, indicating thats the name he gave them.

    Also, does anyone know if the Legacy Soundwave head is compatible with SG Soundwave? I wanna get rid of that molded headband.

    I find the Wheeljack, Actionmaster Decepticon Slicer, Autobot Slicer, G1 Universe Armada Slicer weird conundrum interesting. And I've really been enjoying the SG comics. I hope they continue.

    I’m sure the story will be decent, I just hope it clears up the confusion and doesn’t leave it open to interpretation.

    It has good artwork as this book always has.

    I mean... if it follows the pattern of the SG comics then Wheeljack/Slicer be DED!!!!! by the last page. So who even cares?

    No one seems to care, but I've been trying to deconstruct Slicer.... Just re-read this preview.... There it is, he's loyal to no one.
