so just 86 Snarl for me........2023 looking to be a cheap year as far as SS goes

 

For me it's probably just going to be the Autobots and terrorcons from Rise of the Beast there isn't much interesting for 86 to me

 

ROTB Wheeljack (Depending on how he looks), and 86 Frenzy are the only ones I would buy around the release, but I definitely want WFC Bee and Cliffjumper someday, and depending on how they look, 86 Ratchet, WFC Barricade, 86 Brawn, and Core Bumblebee

 

They could just cheat and make Jetfire one of them, seeing as he was always hanging out with the WFC Aerialbots anyway, that's 4 with the preexisting Fireflight design. And if you wanted to get really crazy you could do one of the generic Flier designs with a conspicuously Skydive/Slingshot themed deco, and release the other one in Selects or Buzzworthy or something

Out of these I really only want core Ironhide, RotB Bumblebee, and WFC Cliffjumper. Maybe voyager Ratchet. The rest of RotB depends on robot modes. Based on the vehicles though they look sick. The beasts on the other hand… we’ll definitely have to wait to see.

I'm so on the fence about WFC SS. I like Optimus and he's close enough for an IDW early era OP that if the figure falls that way I'd be in. If Bee gets close to the cooler looks of the game model I'd be interested and if Cliff can pull off something that hints at his (canonically) future TFP version I'd jump on it. Barricade just doesn't work for me at present and Megatron was always a weak design to me.
However, if the figures sell well, then some of the characters that have IMO really strong designs, well, they might get a future look, so I'm rooting for them.

 

Of the designs we are getting, Bee, Prime, Cliff and Megs work well for me, Barricade doesn't.

 

What I need to do in my copious (HA!) spare time is look through TFwiki and review the WFC designs. Maybe some will grow on me as it has been a LONG while since I've really paid attention to them.

 

I think I want Grimlock most of all, but the tank version...

 

If they do an Autotrooper, they should do the original:

I don't know why everyone is so secure about this WFC SS stuff being the videogame version, I'll keeps skeptical until we get more confirmation. But one part of myself wants to jump to the roof because I'll be able to get a FOC version of Barricade and putting him with the future SS86 Frenzy, amazing evil couple just like it amazed me in the 2007 movie but now cybertronian.

 

Because just we got WFC NX toys already for 3 lines and a exclusive walmart line.

Well, maybe we can get a Decepticharge repaint.

 

We never got a show accurate Barricade, Bumblebee, or Cliffjumper though. And the only show accurate Optimus was Premium finish.

Honestly, most of the WFC toys had nothing to do with the show. And they're still making the occasional figure from the show like Red Cog.

 

Has there been any new news on that SS Leader class Buzzworthy Bumblebee reissue?
