Has anyone received replacement parts from ShowZ yet? I messaged them on the first of the month and haven't heard anything back.

 

Luckly I have not had to do that yet but.... I would contact them again or you can go on the Showz thread and do a @abbycat and let him know what's going on. They usually reply on that thread. Might take a few days.

 

bit of a PSA for anyone that doesn't know (I'm sure most ppl do, I just need to vent frustration). I got the 01-Studio 01B a few weeks back. I watched several videos on how to transform and several recommended to file down the chest tabs that lock into the legs when folding legs in for planet mode. They said it requires EXTREME force to unclip. But how bad could it really be? I wanted the full experience out of the box. I paid for my hubris in spades.

oh my f***, it was bad. It was SO bad. Hands and fingers hurt, so much force needed, it felt like i was ripping the planet apart. After miraculously untabbing one leg, I needed a break, as in sleeping on it and requiring a few days for my hands to recover as if I had done some kind of workout in the gym. So everything is now unclipped, somehow nothing broke. So my advice... do not, I repeat DO NOT clip legs in without shaving down the top and bottom lips of the chest tabs, maybe the tab length as well.

 

Depends on how long ago you ordered them? Zeta Toys isn't the fastest when it comes to coughing up spare parts. It can take up to two months.

 

It's not that bad. It's just most people instinctively pull away from the chest. If you pull the shins down away from the chest they unclip a lot easier. Same for locking them in.

 

Damn, I thought the cartoon version of this dude was coming out in October. Hopefully late October. It's out now? I can't afford it now. Damn, that sucks. Guess I need to cancel my preorder.

 

I have thia on the way to me from ShowZ...are there any widespread issues to worry about besides the knees? And is there a fix for the knees?

 

What's wrong with the knees?

The most common issue I've seen and experienced myself is the head joint missing and in my case the entire collar snapped off in shipping.

 

By the knees, I'm taling about the knee plates not tabing together well.

 

So what happens if ShowZ can't get replacement parts? Do they issue refunds or credits of any kind?

 

In the two times they weren't able to get replacement parts for me, Once for ToyWorld Burden, I was refunded for the figure after a year+ of waiting on ToyWorld to send parts. The second instance was Gigapower Graviter and they replaced the whole figure and sold off the one with the problem for a discount to someone else.

 

I love it....I'm finally able to order this fIgure from ShowZ, and Fedex delivers it to THE WRONG FUCKING ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Did you get your package eventually or did FedEx tell you to kick rocks?

 

It was supposedly deliverd today....but its not here.

 

I've been there before with USPS and it didn't turn out so well for me and I was out $300+ dollars. I truly hope you can get help for this and they don't just tell you "We delivered it" and that's that, like USPS did to me.

Amazon also pulled some shit like that. They claimed they delivered a package to me and said they handed it to someone in my house and they never showed up. Fortunately in that case Amazon replaced what was lost for free, which was over $400.

 

I wouldn't panic just yet. Sometimes they mark it delivered and then bring it the next business day. Especially on Sundays. Since tomorrow is a national holiday, I'd say you'll see it Tuesday. If nothing else, I'd contact FedEx right away and let them know what's going on so they can mark it down for you. I do know some FedEx deliveries are now requiring the drivers to take photos to prove it's delivered, like Amazon does. I'd imagine that'll be happening nationwide, soon.

I know how you feel, though, I know the uncertainty is awful. Especially at that price. I know it's easier said than done to not panic, but it'll just eat you alive for nothing when it's all said and done.

You say it was delivered to the wrong address, do you happen to have the address it went to? Did you even see the truck come by? If you're in an apartment building that's locked and requires owner entry via a button or somesuch, they'll skip it on weekends because they want to get home and they have a very strict time limit.

No delivery address is stated...just my town and delivered.

 

Ah, then it's on the truck waiting for someone to do it during a business day. If you don't have a FedEx account, get one. They're free, and easy to start. Load the tracking number in there and it'll give you far more details than what Google can do. It'll show you exactly when it was delivered, it'll show your actual address (or whatever one Show.Z put on the parcel) and you can work your way back from there.

 

Check your neighbours porches, it could also have been marked delivered in advance, had that happen before with some car parts, I was going ballistic as was marked delivered but not here then as I was raising hell on phone they showed up.
