Banzai-tron's Actionmaster buddy took a 4 foot tumble onto carpet and snapped. Good lord, this plastic is awful. Never again will I buy an Ultimates Super 7 figure. Huge waste of cash.

I got a whole freaking truck load of Thundercats in the past month from all the pre-orders I had at the bigbadtoystore... They hit me with several waves of Thundercats and for sure charging me almost all in the same month... That's a little bit rough when you are not expecting everything to hit at once...

And yet no one has asked me to go over their Tracks design yet.

I still suspect that part of the delay is realizing how much we care about articulation. Add all the joints!

Delaying is better than rolling back the status!

FWIW, I cancelled my Super7 Banzai-Tron pre-order when I learned that the partner didn't even have as much transformability as the original partner had.

A toy like this should be a step up from the original, not backwards!

I expect large-scale cancellations of preorders for Ultimates Bludgeon and Tarn. A bad year to go with Wreck-Gar too.

I debated it but I’d need to see what the Hastak Bludgeon looks like first. If it’s an as good or better representation of the original than Skullgrin then I’ll probably go with it since it’ll be CHUG scale. If it’s an overly stylized/compromised version then I’ll stick with this because it’s just a smidge bigger than Kingdom Galvatron, so it’ll work, and it’s exactly the look of Bludgeon that I want, straight off the Marvel Comic pages.

Banzai-trim is absolutely one of my favorite toys of the year. A huge awesome poseable Banzai-tron action figure is the perfect update for the AM imo. I seriously love him.

-ZacWilliam, I will buy every Action Master they do a figure of happily.

Banzai-tron himself isn't bad. But yes, I feel like the partners are a huge let down. I'm honestly confused as to why it doesn't at least have swappable parts rather than being one big chunk of plastic.

Bombshell's partner (needler?) was better, it has an articulated head.

Big facts, Needler is OG gimmick compatible and arguably an upgrade over the original since the balljoint is compatible.

Their deal with Hasbro is "no transformability", isn't it?

I think that's the general rule for the license, though there are limited exceptions like the Jada RC toy. I do agree it's unfair to expect transformating Action Master partners in this line, even if we probably can't expect new molds from Hasbro either.

Personally, I only want non-transforming characters in this line. I'm planning to get the PulseCon Alpha Trion, but I would prefer one in Ultimates. Similarly I see Nightbird as a non-transforming robot, so I didn't get the Selects one, but would pick an Ultimates up.

I can't wait for the reactions if Super7 ever decides to do an ultimate version of that leaked standard Unicron. To me, that would be awesome!

At full size? I’m not sure I’d be interested at that cost and space required. I think the little one is a neat novelty. I have HasLab Unicron as my actual Unicron, whose shelf presence would tremendously overwhelm that of the prototype.

No, just a novelty. I was thinking 12inch or whatever the scale is of the current ultimates.

7" is the "scale" of the current Ultimates but Optimus is 8".

They have done 9-10" Ultimates at around $80.

They could do a Super Shogun at 24" for $350.

I watch them also but I never got any of this information. Its good to know. It would be nice if Super7 could lower prices. I sometimes wonder if Brian Flynn knows how to run a business.
